Nobody is trying to shut you down. Many people on here actually defended Ian Bell, myself included in previous versions of the franchise. The game is not what was advertised. Your the one stating you have real world experience. Would you like to elaborate on your experience? This is not Twitter or Facebook. People can actually have an opinion on here. Do you remember posting this.

He's a police officer,so i'm sure he has enough experience to know how road tyres act...

I'm a truck driver,I put more miles on in a day than he does in a week. They don't equip race cars, with road tires last time I checked.

If you give a comment attention, it’ll gain traction.

People are entitled to their opinions, even if some of those opinions don’t line up with yours :)

Instead of nagging about negative sentiment posts, engage with the positive ones.

Problem is that some opinions over here are stated as facts... And even if proven otherwise, those people still consider their "opinion" as fact.

I
I do miss the abs and slip indicators in the gauge in pc3. It seems that even with all aids turned off, there is abs and some traction control.
This is very important and I don't know why a wheel user needs it. It's possible to move the whole game more to PC with disabling everything off as an option.

Oh boy here we go. Ok Konan, what facts of what was advertised are actually in the game? Would you like to elaborate or should I just start pulling up Quotes from Ian and his son. I'm waiting because this could be real fun. Did I also mention that I actually backed Ian and SMS when they were getting slammed for PCars 1 and 2 and all the bugs. Yeah look up my history Konan. Oh I'm also a member on your forum too.

That only proves how people can turn in a flash...

And i'm not talking about the "facts" you are talking about.
I'm talking about things like ffb that are stated over here as facts, not one "imo"was added, although we all know that everyone has his own thoughts about how ffb should feel.
It's totally subjective...

Elements of it are subjective and elements are objective.

That resistance to steering input increases as a tyre loads, and then just before peak grip is obtained it reduces isn’t subjective at all. It’s a product of self aligning torque and if it’s not present then the FFB is objectively wrong.

The subjective element would be to what exact degree ffb loads up will be subjective, but the steps involved are not.

Turn in a flash ? Really ! Don't try to skirt the issue of what was advertised as fact and not delivered as fact. That is called "turning on a flash" by the development team, not me. I have never talked about FFB,nor will I because I won't buy something that was not as advertised. Should I post up sales numbers and online stats for you? Is this starting to sound familiar? Make sure the brush your trying to paint with has paint on it. The invisible paint your using isn't working very well. Well actually now that you want to talk about FFB. If tires degrade and fuel depletes, will it affect the FFB on "all the Sim you want game"? Nope those two options don't exist in this game. So FFB in this game is basically a placebo effect, because 2 components of "Sim racing",that affect FFB don't exist in this game correct?Or magical tires change from dry to wet with no FFB change.I'm waiting for this answer !

It's much better than Steam :D Overall mood here is very good so you probably can't find more unbiased forum for PC3.

So, like the Street Tires in Assetto Corsa.

Just to be clear are you saying this doesn’t occur with street tyres in Assetto Corsa?

Do you think it occurs with race tyres in AC, and do you think it should happen at the same rate?

I'm not going any further into this, it's obvious by your replies that you're only looking for an argument for the sake of arguing...

No,its called a conversation that you have no answers for. It's a game. If you want to play it,knock your socks off. But please don't try to explain to people who have been playing racing Sims for decades and on wheels for decades that this is remotely close to what was advertised. I get it. Enjoy your game.

I use a wheel and a buttkicker. That provides information about the los of grip in extreme acceleration and braking situations. Still I fancy the little indicatiors on screen.

You seem to forget i wasn't talking about the advertising... Quit flogging a dead horse.

Ah, I didn't mean the indicators, it's good to have it. I meant the helpers for a wheel. Forza and GT don't have it as I know.

Says the guy not looking for an argument. Who's arguing?A dead horse indeed. Advertising, you know that stuff developers pay for so people buy their game. Well I guess they got what they paid for now didn't they. Any way,you have yourself a tremendous day.

So explain to me why people are buying it on discount now and are surprisingly pleased?
Advertising did not cause bad sales, biased reviews did..

I really, really, really doubt that was the only reason for bad sales - It likely had to do with the actual game itself too. Cyberpunk has literally some of the worst reviews of their game and is considered one of the bigger mess ups as of late and still sold well.

Jog on with that thought, steam shows 1,200 players at launch, now there's just under 200, why couldn't the game retain the other 1,000 players? "Biased" reviews? Come on its the game not the reviews

If, you play daily Rivals there are more than 200 players on PC.

And how did you spot the bias in these reviews?

It was quite obvious, firstly comparing it to the first two games allthough it was announced as a spiritual successor to Shift was the wrong approach to start with. Once a reviewer started like that, you could make sure the rest of it was going to be bad...

Or it could be the part where they listened to Ian Bell, that was kind of, just maybe, a little misleading?

Damn all it takes is one bad review for a game to sell terribly? Makes one wonder how any game has ever sold more than a handful of copies, ever.

If people didn't buy it or try it, how can it be blamed on the game?
There's a reason why they didn't buy it... Reviews are the major culprit here.
