Wow, I just carry my sim rig with me everywhere. So, I can fire up PC3 to look at the leaderboard immediately.
You just told me to look at the rivals leaderboard... I'm pretty sure you can view it on the project cars website...

So no need for your rig to be portable..

And again what's your experience in the real world with counterparts in the game? Seem to constantly be avoiding that point

Should I give you the time of day with your constant attitude towards me.

All this vitriol, says way more about our current circumstances than the game itself really. The games original build wasnt so nice I played it briefly waiting for the update to finish downloading so I understand gripes there. Gotta say as it is now this is entertaining title that is worth having in a driving game collection. What makes videogames so compelling is they change over time, it used to be between titles now better still between updates. I understand the feelings of belonging and enjoyment for certain iterations of a game too, for me nothing will ever touch street fighter 3 third strike ahhh good times.... So for Project Cars 1&2 fans rejoice that you have them & they are precious, they cant be taken away either. If this title isnt as good in your eyes thats ok, lets see what the future holds this franchise is here to stay and on new consoles could be a spicy meatball for pad / wheel / casual / sim whatever camp u want to fly your flag in. Reflect a little on the negativity, there's a reason for it (its transference), we are all stressed to the max worried about catching covid and how it might affect our lives family and friends. Enjoy your gaming its a great distraction, play your favourites dont worry about games you dont enjoy the great software conveyor belt is spewing more out every day and generally theyre getting better with time.

A game with many negative connotations will just seem that more people talk about the negative than the positive, but either way, there's absolutely not a single problem with that happening, as long as, like you mention, people keep a level head.
I'd completely agree with you but as I mentioned previously the negative connotations are strangely strong with this game when they are not warranted, it's just another racing title. Level heads go out of the window as you can sometimes see over the last few pages. But hey-oh leave them to it.

They aren't "obsessed" with steam, they're addressing the system they're playing on
Since you've only just popped in to the thread. What I was hinting at is A PS4 user, and he's not the first.

Anyway I've got to go. There's a Racing Toyota GT-86 that needs hustling around Tuscany.

The overall numbers have dropped the past few weeks. The Daily had a little over 300 two weeks ago. One month ago the Daily was about 450.

Does the 911 in pc3 have a spoiler that moves. I was not able to get it moving.

The sound in pc3 is a bit on the low side. Switching back to pc2, I had to quickly lower the volume of my TV.

Once used to driving in pc3 going back to pc2 felt a bit rough.

Going from pc3 to ACC I really had to dial in the braking distances ;)

What about switching to PC1?

A very nicely put overview my friend.... a grand attempt at getting everything into some kind of perspective .........during these difficult times....

If people didn't buy it or try it, how can it be blamed on the game?
There's a reason why they didn't buy it... Reviews are the major culprit here.
Dude do you think you coming on here is going to make people buy it? Do you not think that people who actually play racing games didn't fall for hype ? Defend it all you want. Its a terrible game.

It's not a terrible game. Yes it has its shortcomings, but name one title that doesn't.

The fact that it doesn't have pitstops or tire wear is not relevant for me. I only consider that important in titles that have a save during race option.
ACC and the F1 games have that, thank god. And there fuel and tires makes sense.

Another thing that could use some tweaking in pc3 is the rumble effect for tactile devices. The difference between normal rumble while driving and going over curbs is huge. That is better in balance in pc2 and other games.

Well that says it all right there. In the middle of a pandemic nobody is playing the game. Just a quick question. So are you driving an all wheel drive Charger or all wheel drive Explorer?

Well, it's really funny looking at some of the numbers of those trashing PC3 on here in this thread. By looking at the numbers 95-99% of their time is spent in another game which barely has a physics model. That's some funny 🤬.

Neither one of those vehicles atm. But, I will give you this. It's doesn't have traction control or abs working on it. I found that out pretty quick in the rain, but like usual it wasn't impossible to recover it.

1\ I'm not sure. I'll have to check. There are a couple of 911 models.
2\ Yes it is, in some views more than others.
3\ Dumbed down has been used but I'd say PC3 has been smoothed to attract a slightly different audience.
4\ Try dropping the brake sensitivity way down, zero even. You get less initial braking force that way for a slightly more realistic approach.

The kerb rumble is controlled by the effects* slider. I'm not sure if that also lowers the road rumble. Drop that and raise the engine one. The other one controls the crowd noise, wind, birds(!) Etc.

*I think it's called that.

I find it varies considerably depending on what's on offer. Different car and track combinations attract more players than others. And the 3 lap Pace Setter is often not so popular because maintaining a fast pace over a longer period is more difficult than a 1 lap shoot out.

Yeah platinum! Well I was when I left it. Might have dropped down a bit since then. Really liked that combination.

Well done. I only managed about mid-Gold 3 (as with you, that was where I was when I left it last night; might have slipped down since then).

Do you mean in PC3? If so, where do you access that? I've looked at sound options because of the low engine sound (and to try and stop the music), but couldn't find it.

I can only see 3 being valid with a pad. But, 3 definitely doesn't exist with a wheel on professional.

So let me understand this. Your telling me your police force has provided you with a vehicle without ABS or TC that work at the moment? What make of vehicle are you driving that has no ABS. So are you driving a 1988 Caprice or a Crown Vic? My best friend is an OPP highway patrol officer. He patrols the busiest highway corridor in North America. The 401 in Ontario. They drive AWD Chargers and AWD Explorers equipped with ABS.I'm pretty sure almost every OPP cruiser has ABS or TC and wouldn't be allowed on the road if it was not working. I know when I do my safety check on my truck,it's not going anywhere if those things are disabled,by law it's a safety violation. I'm pretty sure the OPP would not allow an unsafe vehicle on the road.

You need to keep clicking right. When you think you've got to the end of the settings tabs you probably haven't. ;)

I agree. I use headphones, and PC3 seems quieter likely because of sustained ear damage from PC1 & 2.

Kidding aside, I’d like to believe there’s a happy volume place somewhere, because 1&2 were ear piercingly loud and PC3 is a whisper in comparison.

they'll use subtitles. Vroom, screech, crunch etc
and it will be called Project Comic Arcade Racing Simulator!

But far far away into the future there will be a racing game with only electric cars.
This could be true. There's going to be a point where racing games are going to become like historical references. "Look how cars used to be like, listen to the sounds".

"You mean that you actually had to drive them!"

Go on then, I will bite, which title is it you are claiming barely has a physics model?
