Just showed my brother this and he said "An F1 car, a stearing wheel and a light bulb."
I'm just curious as to what F1 car that is.
Well it would be faster than the McLaren Honda F1 car wouldn't it?Just showed my brother this and he said "An F1 car, a stearing wheel and a light bulb."

Ominous note: Only the road course package car teased. What does Indy car and Ovals have in common? Would be a shame if they continue advertising Indy Cars and not release the dang ovals.
Ah okay. Didn't realize that.Ominous note: Only the road course package car teased.
At one point there was a photo of the oval package. Believe it's in here somewhere.Ominous note: Only the road course package car teased.
Crazy. That's either bs from SMS or the most stupid move everDont forget Ian said that for PCars they outsourced QA...

Dunno what you guys are so upset about. I mean, yeah they made some promises they can't keep, but I'm so over it now. Got my $ and played the **** out of this game during the development, so it's all good. Just one lesson to learn here is to not expect everything SMS will promise, cause they like to overestimate their capabilities. I mean the game is still good, so take it for what it is. I know most people like it. Once something better comes out - move on. No need to stress out. There's plenty of games to play these days, especially with the sales going on right now.
Same here, would never do oval racing even if it was released, does not appeal to me at all.The only thing I'm slightly annoyed about is no custom championships. That would have been a real winner IMO. Literally can't even shed a single tear over lack of ovals, try as I might.
Although if ovals meant we'd get all the infields as well then that would've been a result.Same here, would never do oval racing even if it was released, does not appeal to me at all.
Agreed, would be very happy if Daytona or Indy road coarses were to come, awesome tracks, particularly when we get the C7.R GTE - probably my favourite GT3/GTE IRL!!Although if ovals meant we'd get all the infields as well then that would've been a result.
Would suck having this Corvette C7.R but no venue to do the 24 hours of Daytona... Lol.Agreed, would be very happy if Daytona or Indy road coarses were to come, awesome tracks!!
True true! Although we're getting that AMG GT3 which will debut at Daytona this monthTo be fair it would also suck having the 24 Hours of Daytona with no proper DPs.
DP's are being retired soon though so...yeah. I'm sure GM will let us have one though. To be fair it would also suck having the 24 Hours of Daytona with no proper DPs.
No it's not. They couldn't get a car delivered in time.True true! Although we're getting that AMG GT3 which will debut at Daytona this month

Quite a few new makes/models are entering IMSA Tudor this year, . Mercedes being one of them. As stated above, Mercedes couldn't deliver a car in time. The AMG GT3 already did homologated testing at Daytona two months ago.Incorrect and incorrect on the Daytona part. Mercedes are not a IMSA-partner, and thus prohibited from entering.

Strange.. It says Aston Martin is on the final stages of completing an agreement with IMSA. Why so if they've been in the series the past few years... StrangeIrrelevant.
Wasn't homolagation tests but an open test. Since that article Mercedes have said they are only interested in signup if they can find a team to run a programme for the full season.

Actually while they aren't a partner yet...one of the reasons the car isn't debuting at Daytona is indeed the fact they couldn't get a car and team to Daytona due to a back log of orders. I bet they thought of just running the SLS and sending in the check, but they probably want to debut with their new toy first.Incorrect and incorrect on the Daytona part.
