What does Indy car and Ovals have in common? Would be a shame if they continue advertising Indy Cars and not release the dang ovals.

I can see PCars selling out and going full on title for all, jack of all trades master of none, they way codies went with ToCa Games to Grid style.
Drifting , rally, rally cross, road racing in one game, people go on about SMS breaking the 'mold' on consoles for this type of game but they must have short memories as its basically just following the Codemasters model all the way.

Crazy. That's either bs from SMS or the most stupid move ever

On official forum by Ian Bell or the wookie as his suck ups like to refer to him. He also said PCars 2 will have QA in house so will be better... basically PCars2 will be better..untill PCars 3 that is...

Dunno what you guys are so upset about. I mean, yeah they made some promises they can't keep, but I'm so over it now. Got my $ and played the **** out of this game during the development, so it's all good. Just one lesson to learn here is to not expect everything SMS will promise, cause they like to overestimate their capabilities. I mean the game is still good, so take it for what it is. I know most people like it. Once something better comes out - move on. No need to stress out. There's plenty of games to play these days, especially with the sales going on right now.

You misinterpret stress, i'm not sat here stressing out, i picked up the LTD ed PCars for £25 5 months ago, at that price it offers more than enough, but I still dont agree with the way the dev team and mods have delt with stuff over on the official forum.
I'm not stressed, i play the hell out of the game, but i'd like to see AC step into the ring for some competition as SMS got away with this one due to nothing else around at the time (unless you went back to Toca race driver) on consoles close to the feel of 'real' racing, and with the UK tracks especially.
But all of that into account if you think i'm going to wildly sing the praises when so much is still broke or now cut for the PCars 2, no way.

^^ Yeah I also don't understand all this grief, like someone's just died or something! Developers say crap they don't mean loads of times. I remember PD claiming GT6 would get regular monthly DLC. We know what happened there. Enjoy what is there and chill. Still more than enough content.
I mean, the Laguna BTCC didn't make it and people declare a national day of mourning LMFTO. So what?? It's a crappy Renault, life goes on. Jesus H Christ :-))

Incorrect and incorrect on the Daytona part. Mercedes are not a IMSA-partner, and thus prohibited from entering.
Quite a few new makes/models are entering IMSA Tudor this year, . Mercedes being one of them. As stated above, Mercedes couldn't deliver a car in time. The AMG GT3 already did homologated testing at Daytona two months ago.

Irrelevant.

Wasn't homolagation tests but an open test. Since that article Mercedes have said they are only interested in signup if they can find a team to run a programme for the full season.

Strange.. It says Aston Martin is on the final stages of completing an agreement with IMSA. Why so if they've been in the series the past few years... Strange

Because this rule was only implemented for 2016 when the series goes full GT3.

Actually while they aren't a partner yet...one of the reasons the car isn't debuting at Daytona is indeed the fact they couldn't get a car and team to Daytona due to a back log of orders. I bet they thought of just running the SLS and sending in the check, but they probably want to debut with their new toy first.
