Graphics comparison in third person with the Formula 1 cars between F1 2013 and Project CARS. Its a lap to Monza with Ferrari F138 and Formula A, respectively.

It most definitely happened, unfortunately I m not sure whether we are allowed to share the pics with the outside world yet, as some details might still change. But both of them will be totally awesome, that I can ensure you! ^^

Ok thanks, last we heard the vote to go next gen was way ahead. Hoping that holds true as I would love to play this title but only if it's on one of the new consoles.
 
When we will be able to purchase entry into the alpha stages of the game, I was told a couple of weeks a good three months ago now. Do you think they will re open it.

I'm not sure anyone knows. I'm not sure if the devs even know at this point.

If the next-gen console vote goes through then there's a possibility, but the honest answer is "possibly never, maybe sooner".

Let me find that post for you.

Next gen voting results. It seems they are dropping the 360/PS3 versions and focusing on the PS4/XB1. Possible November 2014 release. Also talking about the possibility of using mantle. Steam box port is in the works.

I am not saying what the current results are but those numbers are very much out of date.

Yeah, I know. Still though, next-gen is winning whether all of the remaining members who did not yet vote, votes 'No' or not - going by the previous poll numbers and the member count at WMDportal's forum.

Awesome so it's pretty much a done deal sounds like. That would be great news as going previous gen would likely be a horrible business decision especially a year into the new console's lifespan...by that time there won't be anything left really on the old platforms especially new games looking to stay relevant for a while.

No a lot more votes have been cast since. It is a weighted poll so those who put more money into the project get more votes hence the fact there are now more than double those figures in total votes.

Ah, that makes sense. Reasonably, that is the way to go. I honestly believed that each member had one vote to cast, regardless the size of their investment/contribution. Never gave the level of membership a thought. My bad.

Well, looks like I'll have to continue trying to win a PS4 (even though my chances of that look like crap). As it stands now, I have no funds for one.

Did the GT-3 Merc get updated?? Did it get a bunch of skins, or did they just simply released the templTe?

Jup. Template is out and hopefully today the car will support it. In the meantime, they added some quick placeholder test liveries, which is what you are seeing here. The interior is also currently getting textured.

The model has also been tweaked quite a bit in the last few weeks, thanks to the CAD data it's now spot on and looks amazing.

A pre-alpha of the F1 road car is already done and coming to a build soon. Nice.
