So the BMW Z4 has another complementary competitor (along with the SLS). Nice, now people can actually have impromptu GT3 series going, even if its only three cars strong.

Oh and don't forget these are pre-alpha models, they'll get much better as they're full developed. Also only LODA models, not LODX, the highest level.

Ou yeah.. need to go test that now! Liking the vintage tires on the Lotus 49 btw.. will try to make a vid today if I have the time.

there's the Ginetta as well :)

Video showing in detail the new McLaren F1 Sports Car '94 (WIP), that has been added in the build 598. The video also includes a lap and replay in Suzuka short circuit

And other video showing in detail the new McLaren MP4-12C GT3 '13 (WIP). The video also includes a lap and replay in Monza short circuit.

You can be angry for the ~2300 community members that voted for the issue. You close a door, and another opens.

(If that is the end result, but I guess there's quite minor chance now to go the other way.. )

As much as I want to see this game do well I'm still angry over the fact they're basically abandoning us ps3 owners

The game is not expected until the latter end of 2014, I'm sure by then you can have a next gen console or capable PC.

Releasing a game on PS3/360 a year into the next generation consoles makes little sense, financially.

3 problems with that

1) I'm 19 and I live with my and I dad and I don't have a job so buying a pc is out of the question (I have one now but it's really really REALLY old

2) I've seen nothing about the ps4 that's makes me want one (actually I've seen a few things that makes me NOT want one)

3) If money is a issue why don't they release it on both consoles?

Well for 1 and 2 I can't really help you there except suggesting you try to get a job, for point three it's because that will cost them more money and development will take longer as they have to tone everything they do down to current consoles.

Having it on next gen consoles just means that they can be much more easily be developed side by side, meaning the game releases earlier. I mean could you imagine releasing a PS3 game in early 2015? It's not going to have a big impact when most people have moved on to next gen.

The people in charge have explained this in much better detail at the WMD forums but I'm not sure it's ok to post that info here. Suffice to say for the sake of the game, it's future and it's investors (Both SMS and us players) moving to next gen makes the most sense and afraid the simple

New vintage medium (there's low and high as well.. you can only guess how interesting the "low" is) tires.. wip but already great progress and feels really great and FUN!). The tires are quite cold as it's straight from the pit but it really doesn't make a big difference as far as the vid goes are they cold or warm :)

Sorry about the resolution.. I like to have good frames recording live :)

Compare at Silverstone with the Ariel Atom between games Forza 5 and Project cars, you can see the difference in graphics and sound.

a greeting

I've 🤬 on this game quite a bit but I just read the front page article about the McLaren Automotive deal and now I have to say that I am quite interested. the F1, 12C and P1?

I've done a 180(like Microsoft) and will now be looking forward to this game.

@digiprost
I think Forza 5 sounds better.

I was eager for this game on PS3, and if it's decided it will be a PS4 title my biggest fear at the moment is that my CSR wheel will be rendered useless for the next generation of consoles.
Won't be able to use it for FM5 for sure, and racing games on PS4 i'm not sure neither...

Imagine if for games like Project Cars we have to shelve out hundreds of bucks for a new rig again :boggled:

If I understood the PS4 FAQ from this week correctly, its up to the game developers to include wheel support on PS4 in their games, rather than it being embedded in the console OS itself. If thats the case, I m quite sure that SMS will include support for at least the most important Logitech, Fanatech, Trustmaster etc wheels.

Let's hope they do

The Mclaren F1 is absolutely savage, I don't think it sounds as good as the Forza 4 version, though it is still early stages and it already sounds in the ballpark, certaintly drives a lot better. With that said this first build is a bit suicidal, the car is absolutely crazy and very difficult to drive. Even so, the vibe of the driving characteristics are what you would expect from a Mclaren F1.

are they trying to reproduce the car accurately? ie, no ABS, traction control, ect... ?

if so, that is badass. Hats off to them.
