The last junior build was 296, released 06.09.2012, and I think they got the new FFB with that one.

Juniors get a new build every month, so as a worst case, they will have the STM 4 weeks after higher tiers. Surely that's not so bad. If one jumps in at junior level, and find the sim interesting (as in a keeper), going for a higher tier is a no-brainer anyway :)

Also in the same thread as your game directional quote came from, Andy said that no more tracks can be added due to time constraints. Hence, this track is just but a personal wish. ;)

This makes me all sad inside, but I knew it was coming.

We have an awesome list of tracks though. I really wish they would put a autocross maker in, just an empty parking lot with the ability to put cones where ever you want.

Yeah I think the track list including the planned ones is excellent, they have no need to make it look like they have more than they have with layouts (cough GT5), they'll be able to simply say they have 41 tracks.

A reminder, for those not members, this should therefore be the final track list. I'm writing the real world names but bear in mind currently most are not licensed.

Real tracks:

Oschersleben
Monaco
Hockenheim (Modern and pre 2002 historic)
Spa Francorchamps (Modern and historic)
Circuit de Cataluyna
Imola
Donington Park
Nurburgring Nordschliefe
Mugello
Zolder
Circuit de la Sarthe (Full 24hrs layout + Bugatti Circuit)
Monza (Modern and 1967 historic + oval)
Brno
Silverstone
Willow Springs Raceway
Watkins Glen
Laguna Seca
Road America
Zhuhai
Suzuka
Mount Panorma/Bathurst
Rouen Les Essarts
Solitude Rennstrecke
Brands Hatch
Oulton Park
Snetterton
Cadwell Park
Ruapuna Park
Macau
Charlotte Motor Speedway
Dover Speedway
Indianapolis Speedway
Richmond Speedway
Briston Speedway
Daytona Speedway

Fictional tracks:
California Highway
Azure Coast
Test Track
Chesterfield (Kart track)
Glencairn (Kart track)
Summerton (Kart track)

It's in the planned list so not 100% certain to make it, but it's certainly on their radar if they have time.
I hope it makes the list. It's always looked intense in Race Pro.

Not at the moment, no. I don't know if there are currently plans for the GP track, I've not visited the forums much lately.
I'm not a member so I might be wrong about this but assuming that they want to have full 24 hours race it would make sense to have the full circuit of Nurburgring otherwise why would they included the buildings beyond the track?

Including variations I came to a final result of 64 different tracks, only counting circuits, not the fictional stuff.

The only thing desperately missing is a south american track or some more asian/oceanian ones, like I said. Will be a bit weird to have a Aussie V8 championship on Bathurst, Ruapuna, Suzuka and Macau.

Andy didnt say that there are no more tracks to come, btw. He just said there isnt room for one more A-B road track like Cali and Azure. Remember that petrolhd kinda teased about the FG1000 championship tracks when the licence for the car was announced. I m also quite sure they ll make the Nürburgring GP part of the game, btw. A part of it is modeled as background for the Nordschleife anyway and they never said they wouldnt make it AFAIK. What they said is that they dont know yet if the big VLN layout is possible because that exceeds the current limit of the engine regarding area size and memory usage.

All the talk about new tire model and what not - I completely forgot about multiplayer. I was suprised to see it pop up on the menu they must be getting close to a functioning build version.

Hi, sorry for my English (google translator)

I leave a video of all the cars, I modified the location of the video, so I had to do all the video again, but we know there are many people who still do not know, I hope you enjoy.

greetings

Well, here a comparison video between the real life and Project CARS in Road America Circuit, to see what you seem.

👍 ;)

That's pretty good for a WIP. BTW, the devs have told us that it will be brought up to the 2012 state.

Oh, and I love how even the friggin Hans Device is spot on, as well as the head movements :D

Yeah, the road surface just needs to produce more high frequency vibrations though when you look at the nose movement. It is quite silent in the game compared to real life.

Another thing is that the camera is not attached to the side of the car, but rather seems to be attached on an invisible boom that attaches it to the horizon. When it would be attached properly to the car, the vibrations going through the car and thus camera would make the footage more alive.

If you change the world movement settings higher, something like 50-60, it will give more vibration through the camera and make it more like the real life footage.

I want Zandvoort in this game, and really hope Macau will make it :)

Maybe as DLC but for the release of the game the track list is already full, because there is no development time left for more tracks.

Oh and Assen first. Grrr :P

Yeah, but the issue with the camera in the video is also the pivot point I think. Which is ahead of the car on the horizon (note the car dipping or ascending in comparison to the camera).

Thats a very good point, Logi. Please raise that in one of the camera threads (whichever of those fits best) at WMD. :)

And once again: Andy didnt say that there are no more tracks coming, just that no more A -> B country roads type tracks are coming. Which he also said are costing 3-4 times as much to make regarding moneys and time. I m pretty sure that at least Nürburgring GP and Yas Marina and/or Dubai are still to come. Andy T. also said in the ISR Interview he wants Interlagos to be in the game. Oh, a propos:

I will do. Never visited the cam section though, so I will have to look around a bit first. ;)

Oh, must have missed that if you said that earlier. My apologies.
Also I have to apologize for misinterpreting what Andy said as well. Such stuff can be damaging I suppose. So everyone... you heard the lad. Continue spamming the circuit wishes! :)

I don't watch ISR regularly, and did not see this one (but the preview they did).
But like I said earlier, it would be nice to get some licensing going for the tracks already in the game. Just so things feel a bit more wrapped up and secured. Even though i'd love to see interlagos for sure.

Surprised Dubai Autodrome didn't make it. I know the Monaco track has licensing tie ups with Code Masters but does Project Cars include a renamed version of it like GT5 and Shift 2 do.

I think the selectiin of tracks now it awesome, so releasing it with this many would keep us busy for a long time, in GT5 I got way too familiar with all of the real world tracks way too fast, in pCars that's gonna take a good while as is. Sure there's certain ommissions that could've been cool, but remember they can always shoot DLC. Have they said anything about DLC btw? I'm too lazy to check. >.>

I believe it's Brands Hatch, Oulton Park, Snetterton , Cadwell Park & one more(?) that will be laser scanned.

No just those four I believe. Ruapuna Park is the only other licensed track at the moment because a forum member got them a deal but I don't believe they're planning to laser scan it. Could be wrong.
