Firstly, let me just say: That was some Amazing Driving, the level concentration that must be maintained is nuts.

Second: Im not too crazy about all that sun glare, its just too much IMHO, I understand they are going for realism but I can’t even see the track at times, but I must say again, you did an amazing job staying on course.
Haha, I wish that was me, but thanks. It was MortKs and he has some skills that's for sure. The sun glare will be adjustable to a degree of course, just change the time of day and no more glare.

The sun glare caught by the video cam might be worse than in the actual sim. A dark surrounding means that the brightest parts on the screen are most likely overexposed.

Just wondering regarding the race length of career races, will the race lengths be simular or equal to real life (like the Formula A races being simular to F1 race lengths) and will the race length be determined by difficulty or will there be an option to adjust the length? I'm getting more and more excited about the game by the day! :D

But that's exactly like real life. You're paying a few hundred for a steering wheel in the name of simulation, surely choosing not to wear shoes defeats the purpose?

On a track day I have driven a Gallardo, with and without shoes (fairly thin soled trainers) and a Porsche 911 GT3 and Ferrari 360 and could better control all of them once I removed my shoes. Much more feel for the pressure you were applying on the pedals.

And I wear slippers when I drive not socks.

Damn Sunday drivers....

Is it possible to run two groups during once race?

Like they do in the Super GT Series, were you have GT300 and GT500 cars running the track at the same time?

Hey guys just a quick question. What's going on with the multiplayer. I've noticed on pretty much all the videos it seems the cars "not yours" seem to slide sideways straight on straightaways. It's not smooth like racing with the ai. Is it a stability issue. Just thought some of the wmd members could elaberate. If I've missed this in earlier threads I apologize

I think I started getting hyped about this game when I was flicking thru' the Smtyhs magazine and saw the cover! Don't know anything about this game, and won't be getting it until at least June 2015. Main focal point of my thoughts is how good the gameplay is; AI and physics. I know the quality of picture will be goo, and the cars too, the main thing I want is the one thing that is lacking in GT.

Strange, I got hooked on GAS for a while, but after I went on Hols, I had no incentive to play it, even though it was a great great game.

I heard that this crew making the game were partly responsible for possibly (GT not withstanding) my all time favorite racing game, Toca. Does anyone know if this is true? I'm sure I've read it before, but I can't seem to find it anymore.
If that is true, then your question @Darragh, would be a hopeful yes. I think the AI was pretty decent if I remember correctly. I assume you were bashing the AI in Gran Turismo and not the physics.

Toca was made by Codemasters, I don't believe anyone on the development team are former Codemasters employees. However, there are some former SimBin guys, so the people who made the stellar GT Legends and GTR series are behind Project CARS.

Ok, that is what I was thinking of. I sort of played those games as well, although I had a pretty crappy computer so it didn't run well. But it seemed very very good. I'm trying not to get my hopes too high for this game, but I really can't help it

Me to, but I also can’t help it, i feel like a kid at Christmas again :dopey:

I’ve already told the wife she may as well go away for the weekend on 21/11 when this game gets released, as the likely hood of her seeing me in 0%.

(Yea she wasn’t best pleased, but project cars is what it’s all about right now )

Lol. I told my wife the same thing. She is actually looking forward to trying it. She likes racing and I think that helps my cause some.

It mainly seems to be the z4 that suffers from it. It's a small issue, but it's just the way the game interprets the movements of the card according to its location on the track. It will be fixed by the time the game is released, don't worry.

That is a pretty long time to wait.
Yeah I have like big big exams at the end of school year and like it would be a major distraction. Not going to stop me getting FIFA though! Missed '14 because I decided to dedicate my gaming year to GT... Anyways...

Yeah, the AI, I love the physics in Gt, but detest the AI. I won't go into another rant on that dumb stupid worthless piece of- AI. I'd like a mix of GRID and GT with PCARS, t'would be heaven, really...

 Cheers. That's good to here.

Does anyone know if Pcars is going to be supporting triple screens. From what I can tell from the WMD forums it doesn't appear so.

lol, of course it's gonna support it. Check out the video thread, plently of triple screen goodness.
LOL. No,you can stretch the image across 3 screens, but the game right now doesn't have proper triple screen support, as in render all screens separate.

Has pCARS "officially" come out of Alpha into Beta, or gone Gold? If so, when did those events occur? I'm "assuming" it's Gold, but I don't work for SMS, so I can't speak for them.
