From the Steam store page:

"The digital edition of Project CARS also includes the Limited Edition upgrade DLC pack, unlocking 5 legendary cars drivable in any game mode and showcased with special one-make series within your career!"

The physical LE is not available in NA at this time. That may change, but we have no specific info about it. In the mean time many enthusiasts are buying the LE from European stores

I guess I'll have to look around on some Euro websites for a physical copy.

Found it on Game.co.uk. Will I have to pay a customs fee?

The constant updates would cost a fortune so they stuck to the dev kits. However we provided feedback on the controller setups. And with a bit of fine tuning the controller feels good.

Asked this on VM earlier but may as well do so here; how does the controller handling feel compared to Forza Motorsport 4?

Of all the games I've played Forza 4's been the best in terms of controller playability and feedback.
 
Does SMS have the ability to delay the game (say a bunch of bugs appear, ai is not complete, etc)until a later date or has that no longer possible?

My concern is that any possible DLC will not work if you get a european version and live in in the United States and have an NTSC account, with F1 2013 I got a PAL version of the game but when I purchased the DLC with an NTSC account, it didn't work. Unless the DLC is region free or you don't want DLC, then I would not recommend getting the PAL version.

In my opinion, the game will be "incomplete" on the release date. After, in the beginning of 2015 will be released a major update where most of the bugs will be rectified and all contents as Safety Car, the crane truck that will take the cars of gravel ... will be present.
So the "real" game should be released in early 2015

I believe we will have a large day 1 patch and then a steady stream of updates. As we as a community will be trying to sort the game so it's a good as it can be at release.

For those interested in hosting a race series what would you like to know? As I've started to do record bits for my next video.
 
I haven't done much racing against the AI in pCARS so far. But now things are coming together and the graphics tweaks mean I can easily run high+ settings with a 20+ car grid.

I ran some races yesterday to try out the T300RS in pCARS, but ended up mostly just drooling over the photorealistic AI cars (set to ultra) as I drove alongside them. My PC can't quite make the scenery look as amazing while holding 60+ fps, but those cars were absolutely stunning.

There are still a bunch of things which need work in current builds, but pCARS can be a very compelling experience. Will it replace all other sims for me? No, I love Assetto Corsa. Will it become a large part of my simracing? Definitely.

oh no, there must be something wrong here somewhere. ;)

but really how refreshing to see AI not just banging into you or shunting or other stupid acts... just proper racing and ready to take a position back if you make a mistake. Brilliant stuff. Really looking forward to this. Well done SMS :cheers:

Its just finding the right combinations.
 
So just to be 100% sure, if I buy this game from the UK and import it, I won't have to pay customs fees. I also can load the game onto Steam (Like all other PC games) and download the DLC from there correct?

It would be really interesting to see the screens of how you create a series showing all currently selectable options and all the process of setting up a lobby and using online features.

I now need to do my laundry after reading that! Having the V8 Supercars in Project Cars will just make this sim the best thing in the world ever ever ever ever ever ever.

Now if you tell me I can race Scott McLaughlin's Volvo then I think I might collapse.

I need to go and lie down. Is it hot in here?

Unfortunately the Volvo joined this year, not in 2013 so I don't like your chances. I'm a huge fan of Scotty and the Volvo, too. Said a few swear words yesterday as he went in at the cutting :(

The last game I played with v8 supercars was back on ps2 I'm so excited I can play this on project cars. This game seems to have everything if you can do 12hour enduros and 24 hour enduros. Ill be happy that I can use Whincups holden from last year in Bathurst 1000 :). A game ill be spending a lot of time on my ps4 with.

Ahh, fluff, I missed that part of the message :(

I was almost in tears when he did that too. It was a great race though all the same, those last few laps with Whincup running out of fuel and Mostert chasing were fabulous!

There's always hope for a future DLC though I suppose, and I'll "make do" with a Commodore instead then :)

I guess you don't play GT6. There's a Ford Falcon in it. Not a V8 fan so I'm not sure if this is a V8 in GT6. Someone might be able to confirm.

I do play GT6 a lot but it's such an old car that whilst it does give thrills running around Mount Panorama, it's not quite as much of a joy as having the choice of the whole field. Actually, I think I'll do a few laps today in it :)
