"Tracks:
* Licensing changes for Belgian Forest (track textures)
* Le Mans: Licensing removing dds artefact from total logo on grandstand
* Zolder: Added the latest advertboards in the locations requested by AndyM
* Branding fix for Oschersleiben - removal of beer advert (2 texture changes)
* Eifelwald GP: Updates for the branding pass , had to move a couple of vehicles around to make space for an advert.
* Eifelwald: Branding pass - added real track branding / logos , new signs where needed , new textures for the new signs , added manager logos."

Does this mean the licences are OK for SPA and Nordschleife?

We will get an official announcement on that very soon. The changes are certainly not an "unbranding" 👍

Regarding apps for ps4 once more: can any wdm member ask sms for this or provide any information?!

Just a small comment, even "we can't say anything RIGHT NOW" would be appreciated. :)

Again: WMD Members get to know N.O.T.H.I.N.G about anything of the console versions. That includes also possible companion apps for the consoles. If you want to be 100% sure to be able to use a telemetry app, buy the PC Version.

Alright. Read that post from you already. Sorry. I forget about it. ;)
For me it's just a gimmick. Not that important. But would be nice. Ya know.

Slightly worried now for PCars not because of the game but my ability, After 2 solid months of Driveclub i just stuck Forza 5 on and could not keep the M3 GT2 on track for any longer than 10 seconds  :ouch:

Let me tell you this in that case. If you start up Project CARS get into your rig (or at least behind your wheel if you have one) with the mindset that you'll drive your car, instead of having the mindset that you'll play a game.

So don't think "let me boot up this car", but instead think "let's get ready for a cruise in a lovely car" when you start Project CARS. ;)

ps. Do keep in mind that in a Free Practice session you'll need to warm up the tyres for at least one lap, else you'll still be surprised. ;)

Are there going to be any type of license test type of events? I mean I know there are no licenses to obtain but I am asking more about mini lessons that will teach you how to take a thpe of corner or how to handle a specific type of car.

I am both Excited and Disappointed at the same time if that makes any sense.
Of course I pre-ordered PCARS for my PS4 (I have 2 PS3’s and a PS4):

Excitement:
PCARS looks Amazing and if it plays well, it should keep me happy for a long time, I need something new as Gran Turismo needs a Next-Gen Refresh. I just hope they fix some of the minor issues before release.

Disappointment:
1). No Limited Edition in sight for North America and Please Don’t mention a limited Download as I don’t give a Crap about that, I Want the Metal Box and things that come with Limited Additions so that I can keep them.

2). My Logitech G27 is not compatible so I am pretty much forced to purchase a new wheel (I will most likely get Thrustmaster T300, Fanatec CSW v2 is only available by invitation only, What a load of nonsense, shame on Fanatec) because there No Way I would even bother playing this with a controller.

3). I know this is not a popular view here, but I still wish PCARS had Lamborghini’s and Ferrari’s, those are just very popular beloved brands and I just expect to see them in any game that is made for car enthusiast, Heck even Andy Tudor keeps mentioning that he wants to make a game like Gran Turismo but the people here have very conflicting opinions on that.

Keep watching this space about new licenses. I think SMS has a few things up their sleeve and you may be happy ;)

An even if you have an invitation you couldn't use the wheel, so far there's nothing from Fanatec to PS4 or XBone, and i'm starting to doubt if it will ever be soon...

As the only one of my mates that races in cockpit view... having it forced on will be a source of amusement for me. In the beginning anyway.

I won't torment them with it all night though. I'll turn it off for the last race of the night
I would like to race in that lobby just to witness the epic whinging and crying:lol:

Opinions may conflict on whether people want PCars to be like Gran Turismo, but I don't think anyone would really not want to see Lambos and Ferraris in Project Cars.

I think the majority of people who buy this game have no interest in racing online. Console players are by far more interested in offline play. GT5 even at it's peak only had a few hundred lobbies open at any one time on the weekend meaning just a few thousand players online out of 10million units sold. Other games have staggering numbers relative to this, in the hundreds of thousands of users online. In racing you depend on the other guy to act like a gentleman at all times or it can easily ruin your experience because let's be real, the chances of running across someone online who actually behaves like a gentleman are pretty slim. In most other games you expect the other guy to try and kill you so it's kind of hard to be trolled in a FPS. The online experience in racing is just too hit and miss, so if you only have a half hour or an hour to race, you could easily go online and never have a good race in that time and/or spend most of your time waiting. Offline still offers up a great alternative for most players so long as the AI is competitive, and the leaderboards are well done for those that want to solo/hotlap and compare with their friends or the world.
I am not intereste in racing online on any game, unless its arcade racing or with freinds. I prefer racing with the AI. I could easily race online on Race 07 but I just race against 95% AI as I find it more fun. But I know people who will just play online so it's good there's an option

I will be online mostly, i can't wait to get online with my group of friends who have been waiting a few years for this game 👍

I also won't jump in a public lobby to find my kicks. I will race online with friends, trusted people that I know I can have a good race with. Otherwise, I won't bother. TTing, tuning and racing the AI all the way! (We can now actually do this third thing with PCars!)

Yeah, last few days I've just been hot lapping R1 Circuit in Race 07 in various cars, such fun! I like tuning my cars and racing the AI just as much

I’m with you on this one,
When I purchase any game, I always look for something that has a Great Single Player Experience as I don’t want to spend my money and then have to depend on others to have a Great Time.

For Me the ability to play online with others is only an Added Bonus, I will do it occasionally but I find that most online racers I have run into display very juvenile behavior, lots of Ramming, premature ending of races if they are losing and just general bad behavior.

So, for me you Must start with a Great Standalone Experience and everything else is Icing on the Cake!!!
