"We're looking into it" could mean anything from having a chat with someone, to actually doing something about it.
Whenever I've heard "We're looking into it." in the past, it's meant we're not doing anything about it.
Could there be a difference between an EA/Ubisoft markekteer, 7 hierarchical levels and 5000 miles from the devs, releasing a statement and an SMS render coder interacting with us and telling us in person? :P

I have a question: In GT we can drive every Car with ABS and Traction Control. Is this possible in PC, too? I always tried to set up the cars as realistic as possible, but often had a hard time, because I don´t know what cars have these assists and what don´t.

In previous builds I'm sure there was an option for factory assists. Meaning whatever the car you choose has in reality will be modelled. I might be getting my wires crossed with assetto Corsa though.
That sounds awesome. Does Project CARS have different levels of traction control as well? I know for a fact that the traction control on a Genesis is superior in every way to that of a Corolla.

Yes.

The bad: How wasn't this noticed by SMS/Namco and at WMD

The good: They're looking into it.👍

what I don't get from that feedback is that he had the impression that it's only when paused that people can see this 'ghosting' when in fact it's there during motion. that's when a lot of us first noticed it. if he was to run the game on PS4 and look at verticle objects approaching the camera then it's clearly there. this leads me to believe it's just their motion blur effect which, for whatever reason, is something SMS needed to implement to give us a nice smooth framerate, so it might not be so simple to fix.

it also sounds like once we actually have the game ourselves, we may not notice it, as the 100 testers didn't. I'm done with this ghosting talk I think. I'm interested to hear from SMS team about it, but now I just want to play the game myself otherwise I'll go mad with perhaps pointless concerns.

So I have been looking for a wheel replacement for my g27/ps4 combo for months, finally told my father I was going to order a t300 off amazon for 400 US dollars. Today, we went to city-wide garage/yard sales and out of nowhere, there is a t500rs for sale. For only $400. Cha Ching! Here we come pcars!

Well, in GT the more similar as a factory configuration are with all assists turned off:

Well, take this into account:

None of the "aids" system in GT games - ABS, TCS, ASM - are "simulating" those very aids. They are simply assists for the driving model (suspension, tire slip, braking threshold…), not virtual representations of their real-life counterparts.

They are simply called like that because, well - comprehension, probably.

"TCS" is not simulating traction control. "ABS" is not simulating anti-brake lock systems. "ASM" is not simulating suspension roll assist. While "SRF" does not simulate anything, it is the One Assist To Rule Them All.

In my opinion, the cars in GT5/GT6 are have their real-life assists already "built-in". So, for example, there is vast difference when driving F430 on the Sport Hard tires with no assists and F40, simply because the F430 have both braking and traction assists of some kind already virtually simulated in their very model.

When you use driving assists in GT games, you are not "making" car more similar to its real-life counterpart (famous argument of "that car have ABS, so I am using ABS"), you are simply using a physical-engine driving assist which - I say it again - does not represent virtual simulation of such real-life assist, but it is simply a assists to the physics model.

Also, every single assist - TCS, ABS, ASM, SRF - influence all other assists as well, even if you have them disabled. For instance, having ABS at 1 will not only stop the tires from lockup, it will also improve traction (what TCS do) and suspension stability (what ASM do).

In my final opinion, the only proper setting for the traction control is zero (0), where you rely on the "built-in" suspension characteristics. Of course, you are more than free to use whatever suits you 👍

Well, no offence, but that's the opinion of one person, and there are several indications that he's wrong about the fact that running with aids off already includes built-in aids (TC being one of them, extremely easy to verify too). He's right about the rest though (TC/ASM/ABS being generic and not actual representative of the car and TC/ASM/ABS all influencing each other). 👍 But perhaps he meant 'factory configuration with aids off'. In that case he is correct.

Just to clarify because I'm not sure your question has been directly answered, you're asking if ABS and Traction control can be turned on or off in any car, regardless of whether that car came with those aids in real life correct? In other words, can I turn ABS and TC on in the Lotus 49 for example?

As others have mentioned, there will be a "factory" type setting, which, if activated, gives you the aids that the car came with.

I'm so glad this is a thing. So few games have factory driver aids so it's refreshing to see a game include this.

Yep, there's a difference. There is also a difference between that and asking a question to a managing director in person, or HR personnel, or someone 500 miles away in a call centre.

Do relays have a time limit? In codemasters F1 games if I did a full Grand Prix the replay would show about 95% of the race.

I wonder how good the online racing will be on the console side? probably 60 percent of the drivers will be on a controller. Not everyone went out and got a new wheel I will just see if they will give Logitech support then buy. But andy did say on sim pit that they gave support to the newer wheels first we will see. one week left

Shoooooot...Just had an AMAZING race online. Was fighting for P9 at Brno in McLaren GT3 vs Merc...From lap 2 to lap 6 we were 0.1-0.2 seconds apart (I was in P10). I couldn't quite make the move, finally on the last lap (6) I was trying to outbrake him and actually did on a couple of turns but he had a slightly better corner exits, so in the end I still ended up 10th, but I think I would take him on if I had just one more lap. Fantastic stuff. We were inches apart and with no-so-great ping of 190ms (I think he is from France), it was as close as can be. Never did much online racing, but I guess it's fun when it all goes right.

My hands are still shaking...
Was that on PC or PS4 or Xbox ?
