Anyone know how to put the career back to pro? I'm stuck in armature?

Unfortunately, you cant. The option used to be there, but unfortunately it was taken out recently - no idea why, seems like a really dumb move. Reported by several people at WMD. For now, I think the only option you have is to delete your savegame and start again. :(

They can on console, can you check wherever you buy stuff from?

I'm in the US and the game isn't available on here on consoles until next week. We can only pre order it right now. I can go to the Limited Edition Upgrade, but it still says "Bundle" where the price would normally be. The reason I ask is because I would prefer to buy the physical copy, and buy the Limited edition pack separately. (XBox One)

Can you elaborate on this?

Gran Turismo 6 did have a rather good set of lobby options, with more options available than Forza Motorsport 4 (which was a very good game for online play). I'm curious as to what issues you're specifically having with the lobby options in Project CARS since I'd be spending over 90% of my time in multiplayer.

Well there is no text communication so if you/the host dont have mic thete is no way other than PSN to talk, there is no spectator option so again if you join a lobby with you can't see any action if the race has already started.

You can only search you events using location type/class/event length and skill level so not a specific track.

Once in a lobby you can't change any of your driver settings.

It just feels restricted

Ok,I'm trying to participate in time trial in community events on monzda and when I hit a lap time it's not saving my time on leaderboards and when I pause the game I can't skip to end of the session, just exit and save but my laptime isnt saved....anyone else with the same problem?

Same as Forza 4 in that regard.

Both Forza and GT6 had spectator options.

Not a big issue for me so long as I can see the circuit name in the lobby list before joining a room.

Once in a lobby you can't change any of your driver settings.
Do you mean Assists, Car Setup or both?

If there wouldn't be an achievement that is linked to Pro setting it wouldn't be a problem at all because there are no differences than driving and onscreen assists (which can be changed manually).

The problem with the achievement makes it an unfortunate oversight though.

I don't personally see any issue with using the controller by the way. It's balls-to-the-wall difficult but that's where the appeal is to me!

I've not altered any settings either, using Professional simulation with default mode 3 on.

How do console leaderboards work? Is there only stats for car classes at a specific track? I'm pretty sure I saw in PC videos that each car at every track had its own leaderboard and then there was a leaderboard for the fastest overall lap at every track.

I believe I've read that individual cars at a track can't be done on console because of memory. So many more people will be on console than PC is the reason I believe.

That's crazy, it prompts you in the beginning to let you know you can change it at any time. Lol lucky I didn't get too far into the game.

On PCars you have to drive a car like it's your personal car, take it easy for the first few laps then build confidence and gradually better your lap times. I learnt that with GT Legends.
This. I did around 125 km in 2 cars, and only did a couple of spins with each car. I just drove it like in real life, starting slow. Don't forget the tires are cold.

This is the best way to enjoy a game like this IMO :)
