Last time I ever preorder from ebgames NZ - it's 1pm on the 7th and my order status has just gone from processing to packed - they haven't even sent it yet!! I'll be lucky if I get it tomorrow now and if not then it won't be delivered until Monday. If that's the case then it's the last purchase I make from them ever! :grumpy:

Pre-Ordered Project CARS (July 20, 2014) and just received the following email from Amazon:

Estimated arrival date: May 15, 2015 - May 19, 2015

So, it looks like I won’t be playing for a while. :(

Alright I am sorry to say this but just tried to start the career mode. I entered the first race in Tier 1 (kart shifter 125cc) and it was unplayable (xbox one here), it had a rubberband effect, visuals would lag and then speed up and back again this happened constantly. It seemed as fps would drop a lot and then they would all come extremely fast. Very disorienting, felt worse than anything I've seen on GT. Anyone else experienced this poor performance? I hope it is just a bug, I mean I tried other bigger tracks on faster cars and it was smooth, there were some noticeable drops here and there but was still playable and fun.

I usually order from Mighty Ape, they are usually the best when it comes to getting you your stuff on release day.
I'm on Steam with my PC now so dont use them too much, but would still highly recommend Mighty Ape before anyone else.

I usually order from Mighty Ape too and have always received on release day, but thought I'd give EB a go as I could just pay a $10 deposit for the preorder with the balance just before release whereas Mighty Ape were 100% up front.
EB took the balance a couple of days ago so I thought they should get the game to me on time. Won't make that mistake again.

Edit: @IMZ14U2NV - ouch! :ouch: So they ran out of stock or what?? You should be first on the list by the looks of your preorder date. That just sucks!

I had mine preoderderd but cancelled. I never preorder games anymore wait till they come out. Im picking my copy up with a new ds4 today as i broke mine by accident lol

I always have to buy online as there aren't any shops that sell games in the town where I live. I would have gone digital but my internet was so slow it would take me a week to download - though I just moved house and have 'faster' net at my new address - would only take about 10 hours now instead. :lol:

Is the fanatec gt3 working on the ps4? Seems that my ps4 don't recognise the wheel?

Ok, removed the USB extension, but now the game won't even start when the wheel is plugged in?

Just a quick question for those out there with a triple screen PC set up, does Pcars have good easy options for configuring triple screens ? Something like Assetto Corsa has for example.

So i just picked up project cars now waiting to get home from work to play it tonight :). Just wondering is there an in game stats place? Saying how long youve played for and how many ks you have done? Would be cool to keep track of that.
 
So i did a Firmware update on the wheel and it is working now in game. But it seems that the game dosnt fully connect the wheel, because I dont see it in the options menu, only the controller is there.

Edit:
the solution is that you have to turn off the controller!

I've been looking around at all the new videos but havent seen virtual rear view mirrors for the bonnet/hood camera view... does the virtual rear view mirror option exist in pCARS?
 
I've not been this excited about a game since 2010, the release of Gran Turismo 5. Although I've not spunked a load of money this time, picking up a Wheel Stand Pro, Logitech GT and copy of GT5, that was an expensive year!

Just ordered the game on ShopTo here in the UK as it's just showed up as in stock. This weekend is going to be awesome!

That was me, read it in the build notes. Anyway, which ones are back because I checked in game and there are only 4 McLaren liveries.

Yes, while I have gone the digital route only on PS4, Mighty Ape never let me down when I used to order for PS2 and X360, they were exceptional in fact. I feel slightly guilty that I don't require their services any more.
 
How do you turn off the voices coming through the PS controller? I'm not a fan, but I don't see any options to get rid of it.
 
I defiantly seen it in the audio options somewhere. Don't think you can change it not to come out the speaker. Can only turn him on/off completely

Anyone else's PS4 suddenly heating up as well or have I just been playing undemanding games until now?
 
How do console leaderboards work? Is there only stats for car classes at a specific track? I'm pretty sure I saw in PC videos that each car at every track had its own leaderboard and then there was a leaderboard for the fastest overall lap at every track.
 
had a blast on the ps4 @ 00:01 last night!

i'm one of the 80,000 and have been worried how the game will react using the control pad. the x360 controls were crap i thought, but last night i was shocked with how well it played, truly awesome it was, feathering the throttle and control braking... I cant wait to have a blast on it tonight after work and connect my T500rs,

Well I remember The Last of Us: Remastered and The Crew doing that...or was it Battlefield? Anyway yeah it's not too much of a worry...I think.
 
Just a couple of things after having a few races online:

One is that when qualifying it should let you complete a hot lap if you've started it within the time limit, and second is that it should still show fastest laps even if you've been off track. I get that going off track doesn't count towards leaderboard times, but it could still show as a lap time in-race.

It will be in your nvidia geforce experience. you may not get it if you haven't preloaded the game on steam yet. I haven't checked as i'm at work.

I have the game installed but nothing is coming up when i scan for games. Pcars is not on the compatible games list either... Help me OB1

I have started practice run, selected Nordschleife, clear weather, only me on the track (190E DTM) - PS4 went into super loud mode. Other game, that pushed my PS4 fans noticeably louder, was DriveClub with rain but it wasn`t even close to this. It`s like a vacuum cleaner behind the TV.
And what will happen with full grid multiplayer session? :scared:
