Those are 2 different cars. The bottom one is the F400, which began life as the Farboud GTS.
Ginetta says it's a G60

Has the ghosting been fixed on PS4 now?

Just watched a replay at Monza and no sign of ghosting at all when watching or pausing going round corners...(off screen pic)

Still present on mine :(
It's the only reason I'm playing on XBO almost exclusively at the moment, the blurring makes me feel weird, dizzy-ish. I find it quite distracting /disorientating.

My XBO PCars profile has been hammered since launch, where as my PS4 PCars profile has only been logged into (created) ran 1 race (testing setups etc) and not logged back in since :(

The XBO version is poor in comparison to the PS4, but for now I find it the lesser of 2 evils.

Personally I don't really notice it. If you stare hard enough at the curb as you go over it it looks a skosh fuzzy...until you crash into the wall when its amazingly clear.

:D

Once they (give the option to) remove that "feature" I think the PS4 version will be where I spend most of my time.
I've done a lot of direct comparisons over the last few days, switching between both version with the same car, same track, same time of day same... Etc Etc etc and the PS4 version SHINES in so many ways that have not been reported on.

The audio samples are night and day (PS4 in comparison to the XBO)
Colour pallet is better on PS4 (XBO washed out)
Better frame rate
Better lighting effects
Better track side effects (grass/trees/curbs etc)
Less pop in / pop out
Better audio
Better looking
Feels better too? (But XBO is known to have control issues)

I have them running side by side and it really is a HUGE difference.
However ... That blur... It just winds me up :-/

The XBO is not bad though, while the frame rate sucks, and the controls are funky I was still able to unlock the following achievements:

"I am the 5%" - (Win an Online Public race using Pro handling, manual gears, and no driving aids, from cockpit view)
"Consistancy is King" - (Perform 3 consecutive laps within 0.1 sec of each other)
"Clean as a Whistle" - (Win three Online Public races in a row without being involved in a major collision)
"Player 1 vs the World"
"Pristine Paintwork"
"Speed Racer" - (Set a Pole Position time in an Online Public qualifying session)
"On your left" - (Lap an opponent in a race)

Meaning that while its technically a disaster, it's not all bad, all the time.
It does let you get into a rhythm with relatively good accuracy... when wants... :)

Na, mine is always in GAME mode anyway, however I have tested it both enabled and disabled and it makes no difference either way :( (just added lag)

Fair enough, sometimes mine automatically goes to a different mode and the blue is easily noticeable.

But yeah, that slider will be useful when it hits!

True, mine does change modes when I change inputs too. So that's a good point.
While I say "mine is always in game mode" what I should have said was, mine is always in game mode when I switch on the AVR as my PC/PS4/XBO/360/PS3/Wii/Pi/Apple TV and media centre all go through that, Into HDMI 2 on the TV which is set to game mode.

Those PS4 shots above look blur free.
Was the camera actually panning during those shots or was it static? Im logging into the PS4 now to have a peek myself ;)

EDIT:
So...
Its NOT present when "pausing" a specific frame during a replay, however it's there when the frames are in motion (replay is playing (capture off screen AND in motion) or game is playing)

Just did 1 lap at brands and it's got me feeling dizzy already :-/

Which is strange as it was very noticeable before when pausing, Im not seeing any blurring in replay motion or not. However still there in gameplay...Did we get an update?

as the camera follows the player car i see no blur, but i see it on the opponent cars. there's no blur when the camera moves relative to the car i think.

This website site is not very iPad friendly ;)
I can't upload directly from my device... What is this 1984 :-/

I get blurring in motion for sure, it's headache inducing.
But when I pause an in game replay it's clean... Until... I either save the replay and watch the recorded replay back and then pause a frame, or let the in game replay run as normal or play the game ;)

Here for now...

I swear it must be TV dependant because I notice no blurring.

We probably shouldn't open this can again ;)
SMS already stated its there, it's a design decisions and its the way they do AA, and a fix is coming.

If you watch a replay, and the camera is panning, and you look at the background (not the cars) but the crowd, stands, signs you will see it, for sure as it's designed into the game.

My TV has a game mode of 32ms response time which is pretty quick and is an IPS panel which is perfect for gaming (better than TN etc)

You can even recreate it, by sitting at the pit exit at BH and just going to external view and rotating the camera and watching the stands etc turn into a smear.

But maybe you just don't notice it, that's totally normal. Some people just don't notice it.

I agree it's not visible when you pause a specific frame of an In game replay though. HOWEVER that's the only circumstance that it's DOESNT appear ;)

I know some does exist, but it isn't that bad. It's miniscule really.

On the 47" or 50" or whatever LG HDTV my PS4 is hooked up to it seems perfectly normal.

I disagree, hence the slider is coming ;)

Would you like to see a direct comparison to the XBO version? This would give you an example of an identical frame on both consoles?

That might help you see it as I see it.
I am using both versions, displaying them side by side on the same hardware. It its impossible to get the same effect on the XBO.

That is bad!

Probably helps that I run bumper cam so am purely focused on the road a ahead so if it that bad on mine I wouldn't even notice it!

Oh and I upload direct via my ipad? (well from photos)

PS4 to FB, FB to photos then direct to GTP.....

Hello everyone,

**I didn’t think a new thread was appropriate for this so that’s why I’m posting here.**

I have the Playstation 4 version of the game and while I have a wheel, it’s not Playstation 4 compatible.

Issue:
I can’t figure out how to get the audio from the DualShock 4 speaker to the ear bud that came with the console. I plugged it in and still have the audio from the controller. I turned the volume off for the controller and up on the headset. I get silence and have to read the subtitles both during the race and introduction to a new mode or feature.

I know I can switch the headset from Chat to All Audio, but I don’t want all the audio in one ear. My goal is to wear the ear bud in my ear and wear my headphones around my ears. Am I missing something?

For future reference, if (I know that’s a big "if") the Logitech wheels are supported later on (pretty please) or I can find a deal on a Thrustmaster, do I have to leave the controller on for the pit audio or will the sound move to the main audio out the TV/Stereo with the controller off?

Thanks for any help.
