Was wondering how fuel consumption was calculated. I just ran a 12 lap race and in practice I put enough fuel in for 13 laps, just to be safe, which should have left me with only 2.2 litres extra, yet when I finished the race I still had over 8 litres remaining. That's quite a big difference. Does the game just give more leeway in terms of fuel consumption so you don't run out as quickly or shall I assume it's just not 100% accurate and is only a guideline?

Really need that AI aggression slider. Especially for formula AI. Probably not go touch career until we get that. This is getting really frustrating. Just got wrecked by the AI once again like i wasn't there. It's the formula AI that i have a problem with.

They're insane in pretty much all the open wheelers.

Anyone else notice ISR did not bother to review PCars? I reckon they have been waiting for the game to be more stable but that does not seem to be coming. Anyone else heard any other reasons as to why they have not reviewed it?

Their to busy drooling over Forza 6 aka paying the bills . It is suppose to be coming

Could we at least be able to pick individual classes?

I am really hoping it works ... but when they say things like "not until it is solid" or "up to our standards" it is confusing because every patch there are things in the release notes that obviously were not tested and users find out they do not work within minutes after installing the patch.

Same thing happens to me. I tested it a few weeks ago (i say tested, i was bored and fancied an extended drive in the LMP1s)

I fueled it exactly for 30 laps (according to the setup menu) in a 31 lap race. I finished with about 11L remaining, which would of taken me comfortably on to lap 35 almost.

It feels like the cars usage is measured in full on almost hitting the redline before shifting for the entire lap. So you go in an shift even a little earlier, given enough laps, you'll have saved loads.

(or maybe i drive like an old man!??...)

That is purely who you ask. I quit playing around 2.0 (no reason) but I came back at 4.0, and personally I still have a t500 wheel bug occasionally (ps4), and the ai on lmp2 at least still turns in to agressivly whether or not you are there. However, I did feel like it felt like a totally different game. There are a lot of little changes like tire info and tunes actually saving that make the game feel better than before.
Thanks for the answer, the impression I'm getting from this forum (because I'm not going to go to the official forum for a balanced point if view ) is that the game has improved in a few ways but it's still got loads of bugs and the patches don't fix ****.

If I was just going to do some online racing in a private lobby with friends, how badly would we be affected by bugs?

not much,... only thing i see happening is that sometimes somebody has a disconnect.
People with problems are always better to find on the internet then people having fun ;)

(in more than 200 hours i had 2 invisible walls,. 2 disconnects ,..... only thing not working for me are the chosen livery's,.... i always have a different one that i choose,.. very rarely it is what i choose :odd: )

just enjoy the game, best game for 2015 for me,... also thanking the "crap"club from gt planet for their awesome members

Yeah that's crappy, you have to go in your garage each time and reselect the livery on the car for each new session.
I raised that point on the PCARS forum, hope they patch that so it saves your last selected car and livery finally

I went ahead and mailed them, and i actually got a reply from Darin quite fast:

I wrote; Hi ISR, When will the review of PCARS appear? Are you guys waiting for it to get patched some more, before handing out a final verdict?

And he wrote: "That was part of it... Also got wrapped up in other projects. We'll be circling back to that review soon".

Would be good if they done the PCars review and Forza 6 review back 2 back.
