How do the drift cars drive? Do the brakes ever lock up? What does the test course look like?

I'd really like to see a video of one of the drift cars driving if possible. How easy is it to kick the tail out?
 
The easy'est way would be to buy one of those D1 cars... for example the Silvia S15 from Taniguchi. And then try to drift. if it works....then its cool. If not... 2bad :(

Or with other cars...but settings have to be set (enough power at the back / Hard suspension's / tyre's) and the most important thing.. the right LSD!

Any one can try that?

yep sounds good 2 me. A clip of 1Min would be about 5-6MB so why not making a nice 30min video? :) [150MB-180MB]... i think it would be in that range. It depends on the settings... So dont let our freaks waiting (i mean me :)).

Does GT4 have heat waves on the roads. U know that wave of heat u see when looking down a road in hot 100 degree weather. Something like that helps with the realisme but GT4 looks so realistic already it probally doesnt mattter.
 
I think the heat waves in GT3 actually detracted from the visuals in the game. It just wasn't implemented correctly, and if it doesn't really look like heat waves, what you're doing is just purposely distorting the image...

I hope it's not in GT4.

As for the drift car question, I was talking about the D1 cars. Man I hope they're all set up to drift, and not just to grip race. It wouldn't be too much a pain to set them up, it'd just be neat to have it set correct in the first place, and I wouldn't feel as though I'm cheating by adding a huge turbo and putting on sim tires.
 
As stated above, those heatwaves really only looked good part of the time, if they could impliment them correctly that would be cool, especially at tracks like Laguna Seca where it is very hot a lot of the year, but if it's on the you know snow tracks, thats not going to be cool

Is there an option in the tuning department to by an engine (hence confirming if that blown engines exist)?
 
and egg head i know i haved asked but in ur video thread in which i have enjoyed every movie, even the cars i hate (v8's), i have treasured every second. i would love to see the subaru impreza 22b

Can someone take out their memory card and really give it a go and see if they can blow their engine.

I did everything with some cars (PD would kill me if they saw it :P ) but it didn't blow up 1 single engine. So i guess it's not in. :(

I've tried to duplicate the blown engine thing, but nothing works.

I'm afraid I was hallucinating from the excitement of playing the game.
 
Maybe if from the start holding the GAS full throttle... befor it event counts from 3/2/1. Holding and not releasing... Maybe then you got a eeekkk and engine blow or something. why not try that? :)
