Not enough skin or red hair. Plus, it has a dream sequence feel and possibly Kratos' eye opening at the end.

That said, I would like another one, but with a bigger campaign. I honestly hope I am wrong here. I'm kind of God of War'd out right now.
 
Heavenly Sword was so well received its beggars belief they never did another. I was thinking that it might have been a new character obviously as Nariko... well you know...

Don't really have any interest in God Of War so I'm hoping its something else.

Just some plans for future of ps3 and ps vita. Definitely not any new info about ps4 as there is no info about new xbox. Ps4 according to sony will be released and introduced after new xbox

Sony does not repeat that mistake as they clearly said that. 👍
 
Well if sony shows PS4 then it won't be final version. But probably a lie. As much as i love sony i have to bring some old ps3 photo of early stage prototype but not final version.

Final released was cutted out of so much outputs. So whatever sony will show us, we all have to be careful and realistic. Sony boss Kazuo Hirai said that sony will show ps4 after microsoft. So for real we should focus on microsoft. And what their up to. 👎

I wouldn't doubt some of these images (not saying that this is exactly what it is) Sony has said before that the new ps3 would support multiple monitor setups. I would enjoy this because for games like GT5 on the PS3 you have to have 3 PS3's to run three monitors
 
Yes thats kind of ridiculous to buy 3xps3 or 3xbox just to play 3 screen.

Anyway I'm betting this date to be more about news for future of PSP Vita and PS3.
 
Been thinking about how Sony would prevent used games, and well...they did buy out Gaikai. There are several options really. They could simply require a passcode to play the full game, so used games would give you a demo until you paid for the full thing...or, you could simply due away with physical discs. Which would require either a very large HDD into the terabytes...or...store the games in the cloud. So...the PS4 might end up being the first Cloud Gaming system.

I don't know this for sure, but I would assume that Gaikai has something to do with keeping used games away.
 
Yeah...they did offer a physical console, didn't they. And it was only $100. Which would mean the PS4 might not be nearly as expensive as the PS3 was when it came out. Heck, if the specs are to be believed, it's about as powerful as a descent gaming computer. Not a super awesome gaming computer, just enough to get the job done. And, I'm sure there will be some physical media to make sure those who don't have internet can still play. I don't think we're entirely ready for a no-disc console yet. Onlive's console isn't even that popular.

It should be interesting. I wonder if Sony will allow Linux to be installed again...or maybe the Next Box will have a version of Windows 8 on it. Might as well. The two are sounding a lot like gaming computers at this point.
 
I know I'm late to this but I just realized you can pair the youtube app to a smartphone youtube app. It made the PS3 youtube app useful finally. The terrible ui and search was a turn off. But using my Galaxy S3 to play videos right to my tv is pretty cool. Other non mobile devices have this feature too but for the longest I hated the youtube app.

What i have read it seems that the 720 will have some sort of windows 8 on it. That was the rumor anyways.

Its very possible it will be the stripped down version like the one made for tablets. I don't see them using the full OS but the rumor is the system will use a lot of ram just for os...

A friend of mine said Far Cry 3 is 1080p is it true?
How many 1080p games we have on PS3?
I knew the true 1080p games are just a few, Wipeout HD, Ridge Racer 7 and some others, am I wrong?
 
There's more than 80 games that can be played in full 1080p resolution. There is a list of those somewhere.
 
Thanks! I have another question, in PS3 menu, when you choose the resolution can you deselect 576p? I can't uncheck it, the icon is greyed out. I can uncheck 720p , 1080i, 1080p but not 576p? Is it normal?

FYI GT5 is on 1080p.. if you're using an HDMI cavble that should be unchecked and "greyed" out.
 
I added "Midway Arcade Origins" to my PS3 collection yesterday. I am always someone who doesn't mind going classic. I got myself a few Trophies as well as having new respect for games I've never played before. Two of those is the basketball classic "Arch Rivals" and the brutally hard "Smash TV." I eventually got it because there were a number of classic games I like in this package. Only thing crazy would be if the game had one of the biggest Midway/Williams classics- NARC. Not the 21st Century NARC in the PS2/GameCube/XBOX generation, but the classic NARC. Most of the other included games still provide a great air of nostalgia.

A good portion of those games don't run in 1080p. The PS3 can output them in 1080p, generally for picture quality/compatibility on certain TVs; but that's not what he asked. For example, GTA IV is on that list and it ran at exactly half that; which is the entire reason why you need to deselect 720p so it forces the upscaling to go into effect.

Hey guys I don't think this is worth a new thread so I'm posting it here.
Do the PS1 games you buy in the PS Store work for all accounts in my PS3? My brother and I want to buy the Crash Bandicoot games :D
