Yeah no hard feelings, just crazy how you barely clipped me as I kept going so thought I would post up the vid.

I thought you couldn't make the races anymore so I didn't put you on there. You still OK to make the races?

If you're sticking to the 1900 UTC time slot, sadly I can't make the race, no. Nevertheless, a point is a point. :sly:

That's cool, having a short video of a dramatic save from this weekend somewhat nullifies having a short video of me crashing this weekend.
Couldn't do either again if I tried, most likely.

Just ran a quick 30 minute tuning session at the Nurburgring. Ran a 2'03.456.

Still some room for improvement, with both tune and time. Car feels great exiting corners, but just keeps pushing on entry. Hopefully I can figure it out with my sucky tuning skills.

2 easy cures for pushing on entry.

Higher rear brake (only works while braking though)
lower front lsd decel and/or raise rear lsd decel

Do the latter carefully, a change from 25f/15r to 20/20 might be enough to cause the car to snap under braking, you'll likely need a front-heavy brake distribution to match, something like 5/3.

Or I'm coming in too hot into the corners .

I'm running 5f/9r on LSD decel and 3/6 BB. I'll try playing around with decel a bit more, but first I'll see if playing with the damper compression helps (higher front/lower rear, referring to your tuning thread).

Might be able to join in on a few of these, so I guess I'll sign up. Got the car broken in and spec'd up earlier, so we'll see how it goes. :)

Will have to miss the race this Saturday too guys. Up clubbing in Newcastle for the weekend. Should be fine for the week after if work hasn't called me in.

The tuning has been nerfed so hard it's unreal, but I look forward to hearing if you got any help from the shocks.(I haven't so far since 2.09)

I would say it appears you're going too fast, as my setup is far more under-steer biased entering corners, lsd decel being something like 20f/5r and BB at 5/4.

Kewl:)

Lobby settings say 567pp, SS tires but it the specs it says RH tires and how are we supposed to limit power to 562 hp @ 96.something pp when its 563pp at 563hp stock

Litchi
this is cuz your car isn't fully broken in and doesn't have fresh oil. And you can win some pp with the wing installed...

Oh yea I have everything listed in the specifications but forgot about the breaking pretty in part. Is there anything else we do to it? Our just what is listed?

Ran some laps last night, but must admit I'm clueless when it comes to tuning 4wd cars

Managed a best of 2'02.801, but had splits for a 2'02.4xx, just never tied them together.

Also, just to confirm, we're running the standard OLR rules for track boundaries, not like we're running for JGTS II?

Correct. 👍

Wonder if I'll magically find another half a second like with JGTS2. Low 2:03s is all I can do with this atrocious understeer.

Practice room: closed
Might serve as a JGTS qualifier room in the event someone shows up.

Just a heads up guys, todays race will be 21 laps. That's 20 + 1 formation. That should bring us to the high 40 minute bracket given the current practice times, pace lap and time for pit stops.

Had a hard time staying on track with it, managed to get down to 2:03.6 eventually.
Slow in, slow in, slow in, faster out then you can put the throttle down!

Race room open. No practice is allowed upon entry, so use CSL's room for that and then switch over in the next 30 minutes or so.

Oh that's closed I believe, forgot to edit that.
Something came up, I'll be in the room in about 20 minutes.
