That's already been discussed. It's a bug when the AI takes over your car at the end of the race. It's being worked on.

I hope SMS manage to fix it. It happened a few times in the first live stream with SV, but was glossed over. Glad to hear its not land-mine related.

Edit: just acknowledging Bealdor's comment above too.

Crikey, that LaFerrari looks very loosely sprung in the chase cam footage. Did the mechanic forget the dampers?

They're playing on the same 4 week old press release build (754) where the LaFerrari was still underdamped.
One of the physics guys stiffened it up already (together with lots of other too soft road cars).
This could also be a reason for that strange behavior you see in that livestream.

Great to hear - thanks!

Why "T500?" , just read post 5 posts before or follow that link

https://support.thrustmaster.com/en/product/t500rs-en/

And Trustmaster also anounced a PS4 modified PC Racer at E-3, dont know the correct name

Correct name is T-GT.

Question mark on t500 because its not officially ps4 licensed and there have been some weird things going on with it lately. Like that it's not actually supported on Dirt 4 although the Thrustmaster website claims that it is.

Is anyone at SMS able to do the holy favor to make the pitbox indicator a little brighter as I already see the problem it will cause trying to find your pitbox.

How come the Group 5 cars that were in the first game (Zakspeed Ford and BMW 320 Turbo) had their HP changed from ~400 to ~650?

I'm a little upset, but not disappointed. I thought those cars were ~400HP cars, meaning you have your ~300HP Group A, then move up to ~400HP Group 5, then up to ~500HP M1 Procar/~600HP GT1. Having so many classic cars with 600-800HP feels like a lot of the same, even if they're in different categories. And to be honest they're hard to handle. That is it's own entertainment but I enjoy lower powered cars and having some good ol' rubbin' and racin'

I vaguely remember one of the devs talking about Group 5 having Division 1 and Division 2 sub-categories, and that in order to have a balanced class they were upping the Capri and BMW to Division 1 spec to match the new cars. Something like that, anyway.

Yea, but now I'm going back to the Car List to see what low-medium powered classics there are besides the Group A cars. Here. It's something but I was really hoping those Group 5 cars would stay where they were. Really fun to drive in PCars1, lots more grip than expected so you can really push.

Vintage GT A
1974 Jaguar E-Type V12 Group 44 Motorsport Pack
1973 Nissan Fairlady 240ZG GTS-II
1971 Ferrari 365 GTB4 Competizione
1969 Chevrolet Z/28 Trans Am*

Vintage GT B
1972 BMW 2002 Stanceworks Edition
1971 Ford Escort MK1 Racing*
1971 Mercedes-Benz 300SEL 6.8 AMG

The fact that he's braking mid air doesn't help him here.
If you hit the brakes when you're airborne, your car will start to rotate forward.
That's probably not the only reason why the nose went down here but it does definitely increase the effect.
Or physics in this game are simply broken.

That car has always looked out of sorts in pcars2 imo.
I've just tested this car in Assetto and I lost front of the car as expected. This is just ridiculous, in pCars2 the car does endo, in AC wheele.

Many other cars in pCars2 feel "wrong" just by watching video.

Or it's a work in progress and the issue is being addressed
It's work in progress bla bla bla. There's month and half to the release, at this point such problems with car behaviour shouldn't exist.

I asked this question in the q&a thread and either Ian or the American answered yes, but that feels like a long time ago, so we'll see.
It seems pCars2 doesn't support flatspotting.

Sorry, I don't understand what you're saying.

Many cars in pCars2 feel wrong just by watching video.

How do you 'feel' anything by watching a video, except maybe emotions?

As for me, I'd rather trust the drivers and WMD members who are testing daily and providing feedback.

I am a nerd, I can feel the physics from the photo. You can clearly see how lively is the car in AC and I'd rather trust what I see.

Do you even see how disrespectful this comes off?
If it was trully work in progress they shouldn't allow driving unfinished cars in press build.

Which is why it is called a 'pre-release press build' and not the 'finished game'.
There is no point hiding everything which has an issue or is unfinished- they want the feedback so they can improve it.

And let's be honest what was the last game you played which didn't have a day one patch or more beyond before being considered 'finished'

I can never feel the physics. All I feel is the FFB, which is not the physics.
I've been playing racing games for 30 years, but I'll wait until I have the game in my hands.

Actually the FFB you feel in pcars 2 is the physics. I don't know how it's in other Sims but here it all comes directly from the physics and not from an artificial effect. (So you don't have sliders like: kerb effect low/high)
