Price: $ 14,109

Engine: 2.0 liter SOHC/DOHC inline-four MPFI engine. Turbocharged 2.0 liter SOHC inline-four MPFI engine.

Power Output: 101 (SOHC), 115 (DOHC), 140 (Turbocharged)

Top speed: 106 MPH (170 KM/H)

0-60: 11.3 seconds

Additional Information/My Take On This:

- "An Isuzu Impulse has more power than a Honda Prelude and a Toyota Celica GT combined."

- Designed by famed car designer Giorgetto Giugiaro: man responsible for the Golf Mk. 1, the DeLorean DMC-12, the Ferrari 250, the Lotus Esprit.. we should be familiar by his brand (Italdesign) or his name alone.

- Late models received a suspension update by Lotus, in which Isuzu made it their selling point in addition to being cheaper than its rivals.

- This ad for a hatchback.

If I searched correctly, I can't believe this hasn't been posted yet.

2011-2014 Nissan Murano Crosscabriolet
upload_2015-7-25_11-21-20.png

Body Style: 2 door convertible
Engine: 3.5 L V6
Power Output: 255 HP
Torque: 248 ft-lb
Weight: 2,012 kgs
Transmission: CVT
Drivetrain: Front-engine, all-wheel drive
Additional Information: Following the unexpected success of the Nissan Juke, Nissan felt the need to put this out, shocking the world with it's unexpectedness. However due to a combination of a high starting price ($47,000 before eventually dropping to $42,855 at the end of its life) a lack of marketing, and sharing no good characteristics of the normal Murano, the CrossCabriolet was left to die in 2015 when the newly redesigned Murano came out.

1999 - 2005 Audi A2

View attachment 395677

Body Style: 5-door Hatchback
Engine: 1390 cc inline 4cyl 16v DOHC, 1598 cc inline 4cyl 16v DOHC
Fuel Stratified Injection, 1191 cc inline 3cyl SOHC Turbo, 1422 cc inline 3cyl SOHC Turbo
Power Output: 60-110 hp
Torque: 93-170 lb-ft
Weight: 895–1,030 kg
Transmission: 5-speed manual, 5-speed automatic
Drivetrain: Front engine, Front wheel drive
Additional Information: Based off of the Audi Al2 concept car, the A2 entered production only two years afterwards surprisingly unscathed. The A2 featured an innovative Aluminium construction which allowed it to shed weight. As is often the way with German automobiles, a one off "Caddy" pickup was produced for use in the factory.

1996-2004 Lotus Esprit V8
DSC_3393-1200x802.jpg

Engine:
3.5 L Type 918 turbo V8
Power: 350 hp
Torque: 295 lb-ft
Weight: 1380 kg (base, SE, GT), 1300 kg (Sport 350)
Transmission: 5-speed manual Renault UN-1
Drivetrain: Mid-engine, rear wheel drive
Body Styles: 2-door coupe
Other info: Was supposed to have a potential 500 horsepower, but detuned to 350 due to the fragility of the Renault transmission. The V8 range was split in 1998 into the SE and GT. The ultimate incarnation, the Sport 350 was introduced in 1999. Only 50 were made. Thereafter, Lotus made little development aside from minor cosmetic changes including a switch to four round tail lights for the 2002 model year. Esprit production ceased in February 2004 after a 28 year production run.

The cool wall has not had a car hit the ice box since the GT40, and I think this has a shot at making it to the fridge.
1980-1984 Renault 5 Turbo
Nationale_oldtimerdag_Zandvoort_2010,_1981_RENAULT_5_TURBO,_JH-VZ-86_pic2.JPG

Engine: 1397 cc Cléon Turbo I4
Power: 158 hp
Torque: 138 lb-ft
Weight: 970 kg
Transmission: 5-speed manual
Drivetrain: Mid-engine, rear wheel drive
Body Styles: 3-door hatchback
Other info: Created in response to Lancia's success with the Stratos, Renault's vice president asked Marcello Gandini to design a new sports version of the Renault 5 Alpine supermini. Renault unveiled the 5 Turbo in the Brussels Motor Show in January 1980. Even though the standard 5 was front engine, front wheel drive, the 5 Turbo was instead mid engine, rear wheel drive. Driven by Jean Ragnotti in 1981, the 5 Turbo won the Monte Carlo Rally on its first outing in the WRC. The 2WD R5 turbo soon faced the competition of new Group B four wheel drivecars that proved faster on dirt. Once the homologation models were produced, Renault introduced the Turbo 2 that was less expensive, but featured more stock Renault 5 parts with the same specs as the Turbo 1. The concept of a mid-engined small Renault returned with the 1998 announcement of the Renault Clio V6.

Especially since it was (In my opinion) 3 cars clumped together as one in the poll, probably confusing to find if you don't know exactly how to look

Additional Information: Previously known as the CL-Klasse, the S65 AMG coupe is exactly what the title says: a coupe version of the impressive and extremely, luxuriously expensive S65 AMG sedan. L-1999-Venturi-300-Atlantique.jpg

Engines: 2.8L V6 Turbo (Atlantique 260), 3.0L V6 N/A, Turbo, or Biturbo (Atlantique 300)
Power: Atlantique 260: 260 hp; Atlantique 300: 210 hp (N/A), 281 hp (Turbo), 310 hp (Biturbo)
Torque: Atlantique 260: 299 ft-lb @ 1750 rpm; Atlantique 300 Biturbo: 291 ft-lb @ 3800 rpm
Weight: 1,110 kg
Transmission: 5-speed manual
Drivetrain: Mid engine, rear wheel drive
Body Style: 2-door coupe
Additional Info: Despite praise from critics of the time, sales of this car were abysmal. Venturi sold fewer than 700 units in the car's nine year run. Production was discontinued when Venturi filed for bankruptcy in 2000. The Atlantique 260 was capable of a 0-60 mph time of 5.2 seconds and a top speed of 167 mph. When the Atlantique 300 replaced it, the biturbo variant was capable of 171 mph and a 0-60 mph time of 4.9 seconds.

1936-1937 Hupmobile 618-G

217586_5d36794ad6_low_res.JPG

Body Style: 4 door sedan, 2 door coupe, 2+2 coupe.
Engine: 4.0L I6.
Power Output: 101 hp.
Torque: Unknown.
Weight: Unknown.
Transmission: 3 speed manual.
Drivetrain: Front engine, Rear wheel drive.
Additional Information: Limited production numbers for the 1936 model year, due to production being suspended for 18 months, shortly after it started. The car was marketed as a luxury vehicle, and competed with cars such as the Ford Business coupe. Although Hupmobile was technologically advanced for its time, the brand faded out in the summer of 1939. This was one of the last few models made by Hupmobile, being replaced by the ill-fated Hupmobile Skylark.

Alright, time to go for another nomination. I was going to elect the Lancia Thema 8.32, but since that has already been polled (and was involved in quite the arguments back then), I'll go for this other Italian car instead:

1971-1977 Fiat 130 Coupe
73-Fiat-130-Coupe-fr.jpg

Body Style: 2-door coupé
Engine: 3235cc, naturally-aspirated "130 type B" V6 engine
Power Output: 165 bhp @ 5600 rpm
Torque: 249 N·m (184 lb·ft/25.4 kgm) @ 3400 rpm
Weight: 1555kg (1600kg with automatic transmission)
Transmission: 3-speed automatic gearbox, with a 5-speed manual available as an option
Drivetrain: Front-mounted-engine, rear-wheel-drive.
Additional Information: The coupe variant of the rather unsuccessful Fiat 130 sedan, the 130 Coupe was a brand-new design based on the 130 platform, commissioned to the Pininfarina design house (and presumably designed by Paolo Martin). The entire interior and dashboard were also redesigned, now featuring wooden veneer, a row of switches and soft illumination with the help of fibre optics. Capable of hitting 195 km/h (121 mph), an 130 Coupe was once owned by one Enzo Ferrari, who used the car for long-distance trips. Some of the changes that the Coupe introduced were later added to the 130 Sedan, including the steering column, dashboard, central console and the ventilation. Two other variants were created for the car but were rejected by Fiat; the 4-door Opera saloon and the 2-door Maremma estate, which are not considered as part of the nomination.

Power: 499hp
Torque: 425 lb/ft
Weight: 3,600lbs / 1,600kg
Transmission: 5-speed manual
Drivetrain: Mid-engined, rear drive

Additional Information: An American Lamborghini Diablo. 17 cars were produced during a period of corporate turmoil for Vector. It was given the M prefix in deference to then parent company Megatech, as opposed to the W prefix of company founder Gerry Wiegert. Of the seventeen produced, sixteen were road cars and one was a race car. Fifteen road cars are left and the race car was refitted into a Vector SRV8.

2001-B-Engineering-Edonis-Top-View-Photo-With-Open-Door.jpg

Body: 2 Door Coupe
Engine: 60 Degree V12 (Twin Turbo)
Displacement: 3760 cc / 229.4 in³
Power: 680 bhp / 507 KW @ 8,000 rpm
Torque: 735 Nm / 542 ft lbs @ 3,200 - 3,600 rpm
Top Speed: 365 km/h (227 mph)
0-60 mph: 3.9 s
Weight: 1,300 kilo / 2,866 lbs
Chassis: Aluminium body on carbon fiber monocoque
Gearbox: 6 speed Manual
Drivetrain: Mid Engine, Rear Wheel Drive
ADDITIONAL INFO: This is the B. Engineering Edonis, as launched on January 1, 2001. The B Engineering Edonis was launched in 2001 as a continuation of the Bugatti EB110 Super Sport. It was extensively re-engineered and only retained the Bugatti's carbon-fiber chassis. Both the exterior and interior were completely redesigned and the 3.5-liter Bugatti engine was also upgraded

The Bugatti engine was increased from 3500 to 3760 cc and the four small IHI turbochargers were upgraded to two larger units from the same manufacturer. Thus, engine power increased from 449 kW (602 hp) and 650 N·m (480 lb·ft) of torque to 507 kW (680 hp) at 8000 rpm and 735 N·m (542 lb·ft).

In addition, the 4WD triple-differential drivetrain from the original Bugatti was replaced with a much simpler and lighter RWD transaxle. This saved approximately 70 kg (154 lb) from the design.

At the time of launch, B Engineering claimed a maximum speed of 365 km/h (227 mph), while accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in only 3.9 seconds.

B Engineering planned to build only 21 vehicles for €760,000, but it is unlikely they reached that goal.

You're missing engine displacement, part of the drivetrain, and body style.

Austin Maestro (1983 - 1995)
1.3 Petrol, 1.6 Petrol and 2.0 Diesel Models only

View attachment 402244

Body Style: 5 door hatchback
Engine: all engines were inline 4 cylinders. 1.3 A Plus at 1275cc, R & S series 1.6 at 1598cc, 2.0 L series at 1994cc
Power Output: 1.3 - 68 hp at 5800 rpm, 1.6 - 86 hp. 2.0 Diesel - 60 hp
Torque: 1.3 - 75 lb ft, 1.6 - 91 lb ft, 2.0 Diesel - 89 lb ft
Weight: 945 kg for the 1.3 HLE, 1000 kg for the 1.6, 1092 for the Diesel
Transmission: 4 or 5 speed manual
Drivetrain: Front engine and front wheel drive

Additional Information: After the relative success of the Metro, British Leyland urgently needed a replacement to take on the GM Astra/Kadett and the Fwd Ford Escort. The voice synthesis warning and information system in the higher spec models had a talking dashboard, the gender varied depending on which country the car was sold in. However the 1.3 A Plus engine was originally from the early 1950s (if not earlier!). The R-series was a modified version of the E-series engine seen in the Allegro and Maxi. Later on cars were produced in Bulgaria, and versions are still in production in China.

Just over 600,000 were sold in UK, however by 2006 it is believed that only 11,000 had survived.

A late model Diesel shown in the picture above, with oversized wheels!

Prediction: the least cool car of all-time?

1971-1975 BMW 3.0 CS (E9)
7.jpg

Engines:
3.0L Twin-Carb I6, 3.0L Fuel Injected I6, 3.2L I6
Power: 3.0 Twin-Carb: 180 hp; 3.0 FI I6: 200 hp; 3.2: 203 hp
Torque: 3.0 Twin-Carb: 185 lb-ft.; 3.0 FI I6: 200 lb-ft.; 3.2: 211 lb-ft.
Weight: 1420 kg
Transmission: 4-speed manual, 3-speed automatic
Drivetrain: Front engine, rear wheel drive
Body Styles: 2-door coupe
Additional Info: "The 2800CS was replaced by the 3.0CS and 3.0CSi in 1971. The engine had been bored out to give a displacement of 2,986 cc (182.2 cu in), and was offered with a 9.0:1 compression ratio, twin carburettors, and 180 horsepower (130 kW) at 6000 revolutions per minute in the 3.0CS or a 9.5:1 compression ratio, Bosch D-Jetronic fuel injection, and 200 horsepower (150 kW) at 5500 revolutions per minute in the 3.0CSi.

Introduced in May 1972, the 3.0CSL was a homologation special built to make the car eligible for racing in the European Touring Car Championship. The "L" in the designation meant leicht (light), unlike in other BMW designations, where it meant lang (long). The lightness was achieved by using thinner steel to build the unit body, deleting the trim and soundproofing, using aluminium alloy doors, bonnets, and boot lids, and using Perspex side windows. The five hundred 3.0CSLs exported to the United Kingdom were not quite as light as the others, as the importer had insisted on retaining the soundproofing, electric windows, and stock E9 bumpers on these cars."
