Fired up the X1 this morning and set it to "Instant On". Hopefully any update or dl is ready by the time I get home. I wont get to play for at least another 12+ hours. At least I have Friday off paid. So it should be a great long night tonight.

Even without the S2000 I selected as a starter, I have more than enough cars from the get go thanks to the Tier 5 rewards. And after only two qualifiers I find myself winning a Veyron Super Sport with my first prize spin.

I started the game up this morning and played the first race and the first race of the qualifier. Ran a 1:00.193 in the S2000. Decided that I wanted to build a car instead of continuing and got the Alfa Romeo 4C. Man!! What a quick little car that is in A Class!

Apparently, the Xbox One doesn't come with a USB cable for the controller in my country, and the generic batteries that came with it are running low. What is the required USB cable called specifically? I need to buy one before the stores shut down for the day in this small town.

You can use just about any cable to charge your controller. Its a universal plug in. Even your phone will charge it. Depending on the batteries you are charging. The PS3 or PS4 cable might even work.

I included an image. I don't know the specific name of the hole.
If you have rechargeable batteries designed for the controller it should charge them. (Play and charge kit)
Otherwise....
It delivers power to the controller for sure. Then you would need a separate charge dock for the batteries.

You could also bring your controller with you to get the proper cable.

I use something similar to this. It was a Christmas gift from my sister so I don't know the name of it.

Ok, I found this on the official Xbox One support website.

If you have a micro-USB cable or the Xbox One Play & Charge Kit, you can connect your controller to the console by connecting the micro-USB cable between the controller and the console. This also enables the controller to act as a wired controller, even without a battery inserted.

Provided you're at any decent level of Forza Rewards, you won't have to worry about buying the BMW.

The day one patch is only 92mb, so you should get maximum play time!

I always stick with something light and RWD with the past few games I've had, but I think this time I'm going to start out with the 22b. Change up the pace for once. Afterwards I plan on building a SC300 for grip!

I'm extremely jealous of all you guys that are playing today. I will not be joining until tomorrow, and it's going to be extremely sad when I get home and power up my Xbox and not play Forza 6

Yep I got a bunch of reward cars including the BMW ,the first car that I bought was a Clio Williams,and my second was a Lotus Cortina.

Oh ok. I was kinda hoping to see what people thought of the 1.6L I4, considering how dominant that engine was in Forza 5. I'm hoping they nerfed the 🤬 out of it.

I wanna get as deep into career as i can the next couple of days,but that doesn't mean to say I won't later.

Edit: Spin #5 gave me a 370Z which i am going to throw a Nismo body kit on straight away.

My first car in real life was Clio 16v (the budget version of the Williams),mind that I took my driving licence in a 60hp Russian Lada 2101 ( basically a Fiat 125 from the late 60s ), when I drove the Clio for the first time it was the most frightening and exiting experience in my life, I will never forget it. I fell in love and never drove anything but Renault Sport in my life. So I just gave up and no matter how much I can't stand Microsoft and Turn 10 I ordered the Ultimate Edition through the Russian Xbox store as it was the cheapest. Do any of you guys knows how much percent I need to download to actually start the game?
