Where are the controller settings on the pre-race screen? I have a hard time completing the first qualifying race at Lime Rock Park because I can't seem to change controller settings to what I'm used to.

Trying to remember from my limited time with the demo. Should be somewhere in the settings, or controller / wheel options? Then you can adjust the wheel or controller. To the left of "Exit"

I couldn't do that until after that race,then before race two I quit back to the main menu and went from there.

Oh yeah usually you have to complete the first race or two, then the options open up. I should have mentioned that.
T10 leaves it set to a very easy setting with no manipulation to allow new users to just jump in and drive with minimal confusion.

That race at Lime Rock was hard for me because vibration is such a distraction.:yuck:

How do i upload photo's here? never done it before,from the XB1 that is.

You upload them directly from the game after you snap a picture, then go to www.forzamotorsport.net and log in, and hover over the "Community" link and select Gallery. From there you can save it and upload to an image hosting site. I suggest www.flickr.com as it doesn't compress the photo's, and you'll get them in tip top quality.
 
So I got hit with the bug, where when I launch the game to play. It kicks me back out to the dashboard. Now I'm reinstalling all 45.8 GB again.
 
It's taking a very long time to install. It turns out I downloaded all the content a week ago but didn't complete the install so I had to re-install it. Is it normal for the installation process to be this slow? (Moves 1% every 45 minutes)

The Metro 6R4 is such an unforgiving car :P it just snaps as its way too short.

The Metro 6R4 has snap oversteer only in Forza reality, I played it in Dirt Rally and it was actually pretty realistic not to mention Codemasters fixed their FFB in days after some user criticism, something Turn 10 will never do.

Depends on your connection and keep in mind, the servers are going to be pounded today. So downloading will probably be much slower than normal. I will be lucky if I get to play today at all if I have to re-download the entire game. But that's okay, I have all day off tomorrow to enjoy it.
 
@CAMAROBOY69 The download process is done the 48GB just needs to be installed and correct me if i'm wrong but does the installation process work regardless of Internet connection? isn't it an internal process ?

There have been issues with Xbox that cause games to do that, and requires a hard restart of sorts.

I'll have to remember that next time, and see if pulling the power cable will work. I only powered it off, but I don't have that instant on thing enabled. But it still didn't work.

I think by the time, it gets done installing. I'll be leaving for work.

That's a bummer :(.

I also don't have Instant On Enabled, but I found hard restarts alleviates problems.
 
Car sounds seen better, M235i sounds awesome and M4 sounds much better than FH2.
 
Anyone know how to increase engine sound? It's so quiet! Game is much better than FM5. Anyone done the Spec MX5 race around Laguna Seca. That was epic!
 
Have they improved the visuals on tracks that were featured in Forza 5? I took a drive on the dry Nürburgring Nordschleife and was kinda underwhelmed after being on COTA.

They've improved some. Most noticeable is Laguna Seca, it looks quite a bit different than it did in FM5.

Yes, that's how it worked in the demo. It took me a couple of races trying to memorize the default gear shifting because I always changed the assigned buttons in the demo.

Right, it only seems possible do it from the main menu.

Ok, perhaps it's mostly a matter of getting used to the look of familiar place (Nürburgring in GT6).

I believe that is correct. I am not sure if it needs to sync to the cloud while installing. I have always been online.
 
Anyone getting photos to appear on forzamotorsport.net gallery? Figure its not fully functioning yet but just checking!
 
Do you get your credits instantly? I just finished the first series and I haven't seen any money from the previous games.

I have only recieved 1.3m cash or so
