Yeah, Enzo Ferrari wanted a car to be named after his son, Dino, and it was a 'baby' Ferrari. The cars didn't sell to well initially and dealers started putting Ferrari badges on them so they would sell better. Old man Enzo never intense the car to be badged as a Ferrari.

If you ever see a Dino with a Ferrari badge, then it's having an identity crisis. :P

I can't answer your question with a simple yes or no... Tracks are laser scanned and the different cars behave as you'd expect them to, so that speaks for realism. However, assists are treated as general difficulty settings without consideration for individual car traits. In other words, the +500 cars figure comes with a small price. The physics are quite realistic and surely not unrealistic. Great graphics overall but perhaps a little inconsistent depending on track and conditions. Ultimately, the rain effects on Brands Hatch will impress whereas the bland sunlight glare on Nürburgring or Spa soon becomes repetitive and annoying. The sound gets the job done unless you are picky. Best car selection in any racing game right now and still expanding with add-on goodness, not to mention ForzaVista being a cool feature if you are passionate about cars. The track selection has most of the essentials and North American tracks are in abundance. Opponent cars can provide a decent challenge but AI behavior occasionally drags things down too much, meaning that solo driving offers the most uniform experience. I'm not really the person to ask about career, online, tuning, and customization, so that sums it up for my answer.

Thank you very much for that mini-review. I think I will give it a try. Do you recommend getting the deluxe/special edition?

If you already have an XB1, and you love cars and racing games, you should definitely get it. For the selection and variety of cars alone it's worth it.

Some people get the game and don't even race much. They spend hours designing car liveries (which you can download and put on your car), or taking photographs. You can check out the Forza 6 photography section to see some of those great photos.

I have a bunch of time in it, and I'm still having a blast. There's areas of the game I haven't really even did much in yet too. Oh yeah, and Porsche is coming sometime(thinking soon), and you can drive Aryton Sennas MP4, and even download an exact Marlboro Liverey for it. (Car sold separately from actual game)

Sounds like there's a lot of fun to be had besides driving. Well, I'll be joining the ranks soon then.

Indeed, I hear there are many problems for wheel users

A friend I ran into at TGS last year spoke very highly of Forza. He also recommended visiting the "forza.net" forums to stay updated on the latest happenings. I see people talking about problems with wheel use on Forza as well. So it's probably a safe bet to just stick to the game pad for now?

I just wanted to share my thoughts on something real quick. I don't like the community bounty. I find having to try to beat a laptime that will constantly improve just to get a dlc car a few months earlier than when it'll be released silly. It really does come off to me more annoying than enjoyable.

I'm my opinion, I never bothered setting up my wheel with previous versions of FM, with FM6 I won't use a game pad. Feels pretty good with my ThrustMaster TX.

I have a couple things here. First off the Opel badge is jacked up. @Sutuki told me he couldn't get his to unlock, and after maxing mine, it stayed locked for me too. I got the mod for it, the badge just stays locked. I know I read when the Opel first came out, people had problems because there wasn't a badge to unlock.

Second part is a question about tunes. With this 500 limit on it, I'm fine so far, but when the Porsche pack comes and more DLC cars are released, I will probably hit the limit.

Say you download a tune from someone you follow etc. If you you delete that tune, can you get that same Tune again later? I'm asking because I've deleted a few tunes, and when I go to search tunes, I can't find the tune anymore. This happens even if it's a creator I follow. Maybe I'm just having problems. The only thing I can think of is maybe Turn 10 does it that way so you can't keep downloading and deleting someone's tune to boost its rating, or give them a bunch of credits?

Second question about tunes, let me know if I'm right on this. If you download a tune and install it to your car, if you delete that file will the tune still stay on your car until you change it? For example if there's a car you know you won't be driving a lot, and your happy with one good overall general tune on it, could you just delete that file to free up tune space?

I'm not much of a tuner, so I'm just thinking ahead about when I approach this 500 limit, ways to work around it. 👍

There are three versions. Standard, deluxe, and ultimate editions.

It depends on how many extras you want and where most money are to be saved. You may be able to find a physical copy (standard edition only) decently priced at some big online retailer like Amazon, as opposed to Xbox Live's downloadable able version. Then you can always buy whatever DLC you may want. The ultimate edition (digital download only) bundles all DLC released so far, including the forthcoming March car pack, at a bundled discount. I recommend you compare prices to find the best deal right now.

I have a question. I bought recently a Mitsubishi eclipse gs to see whether the same fnf body kit was available for the standard car but seems it isn't. Then I was looking through some more car manufacturers later on and found a car made by Eagle looks very similar to the Mitsubishi eclipse it's unreal. So is Eagle an American version of Mitsubishi or something? Or do both car brands just happen to have made a car that looks way too alike.

Eagle was somewhat the ''americanized'' Mitsubishi, there was also the Mirage rebadged as the Summit and the 2000GTX which was a Galant.

Thanks for clearing that up dj. I modded them both up to high spec. Idk maybe it's just me but I thought the Mitsubishi was a bit better at taking corners with more rounded balance than the eagle. I could tell the eagle didn't like to corner as well. Maybe it's all in my head but seriously I felt a difference driving them with both the same specced up engine swap out. Weird if they are the same car. The eagle seemed to loose control a bit more when cornering sometimes. But still nice car and different body kits not the same options as the eclipse and I like the fact the eagle has some nice rear wing options.

Mitsubishi Eclipse/Eagle Talon/Plymouth Laser were all the same car, built in the same plant.
The Laser was only fwd. The Eclipse and Talon were known as the Diamond Star twins(that's coming from reading my old Car & Driver/Road & Track/ Motor Trend magazines back in the day). ;)

The pad works very well for me. Just make sure you have all your deadzones at 0 and 100 and you'll be fine 👍

Hmm, when my brother was buying his then new 1988 Mitsubishi Cordia L from Mitsuibishi in New Rochelle, the Plymouth was mentioned to be only to be FWD. The magazines I had were testing the FWD turbo.

Edit: New for '92. Ain't much history in the Laser.

Ok thought I would try make a drag build for first time today. But what is the point in drag strips if it doesn't tell you your 1/4M time? Do you have to race online or something in rivals mode for the game to tell you your time because single player test drive lets you do a run then instantly it quits to menu.

Also

Woke up to see this in my Forza messages:

I am a very happy and relieved individual right now. :embarrassed:

Thank you man. I'll try RacerPauls settings and see if it makes it any better for me on controller.

Start a private lobby, you can run drags there (against AI even, if you like).

Thank you Slip. Made a Drag Nissan fairlady Z 432 in Ferrari yellow with 16" rims, a 2.6 L VVT. 666 HP can't wait to see what she runs.

Unfortunately I think the servers on Forza are down. Everytime I connect to Xbox Live right now, when I start Forza it quits with a Try again later. Sorry we cannot start Forza Motorsport 6 for some reason. (0x87de2713) ughh :(

It would be nice to play Forza tonight but I am getting 0x87de2712 error:banghead:🤬

ahh nevermind i'll try to beat the time in the reasonably priced Vauxhall Astra 1.6 Tech Line on the top gear test track. But so far i'm only getting 1:45 ughhhh :( I must be poor? I'm being brave with no aids lol

Xbox Live problems unfortunately (I believe it's only for content purchased digitally but could be wrong), I was playing until my headphone wires hit the touch button on the front of the console to turn it off .

Luckily I saved the tune I was working on which I just got sorted before it happened, so next time I can relax that the snap oversteer is no more.
