I'm always for more tracks. I'll be glad when we get VIR. Going through maxing all these affinities, I don't think there's a track or variation I haven't done at least a 30 minute long race on.

Indeed, more tracks are always a plus.
There's still plenty of tracks to bring to the series and hopefully we'll get more than VIR before FM7.

It's gonna be tough for anyone to compete with FM7's track and car list if they continue with their current pace. FM5->FM6 was going from 14 tracks to 26 tracks at launch, and 200 cars ->460 at launch. So 12 new tracks and 260 cars in 2 years is a pretty big increase. Imagine Forza 7 with 38 tracks and 720 cars at launch and we've got a pretty damn huge game with consistent quality of content. I hope they have enough common sense not to scrap 80% of it for next xbox, not that there is any need for that, just slap some dynamic ToD/Weather from Horizon on all tracks and call it a day.

I'm much more circumspect for Forza 6 and for GT6. It seems like Forza 6 is in limbo until Porsche comes out. I personally do not see the great support Turn10 are supposed to deliver, especially for VIP.
For me I'm happy in a few days when the new (final?) season pass cars come out, I expect to buy Porsche for USD$10 and I will consider the Top Gear pack but I expect it to be full of crap but by then, I dont care. I will probably wrap up Forza 6 with finishing Porsche and that will be it. I would have liked that Forza 6 was to have provided ONE year of entertainment like Forza 4 but I doubt it.

FM6 didn't add 260 cars. FM5 had 200 at launch, a lot were added through DLC. There were also the 3 tracks that were added after release as well.
I reckon FM7 will add about 5-6 extra tracks at most, and about 40-50 brand new cars.

This is why I backed off F6 for a few days. Right now, the game is good for me. When Porsche drop, even better. I'll have my favorites. If I can make a Classic Coupe for E300, win win for me. That's how I play F6. I'm only playing to drive in pretty much E class.
I guess when F7 debuts, ill have 200+ Cooper '65s(unless GTS takes up most of my time).

This is just wishful thinking here...How cool would it be if by some Miracle the Sauber c9 was in next weeks car pack, it comes out on Tuesday with The Porsche pack, and we get the 962c from Porsche?
Sauber c9 and 962c in one day of DLC would make next Tuesday the early favorite for Day of The Year Award 2016.

I wonder what the general media can say that a Turn 10 press release couldn't. There'll be reviews shortly thereafter anyway, assuming March 1st is the release date. Oh well, EA probably prohibited any promotion and exposure before the month of March.
I'm also confused where this leaves the monthly DLC. Let's see if we get clues today.

I did a count of all forza 6 cars last night. Counted 531 cars which include base cars, anniversary cars, and exclusive VIP and all dlc. It excludes all unicorn cars or any other exclusive cars unlocked by vouchers. So with the porsche expansion, it will definitely take the car count to 550. It would be nice to know how many exclusive dlc and unicorn cars there are so we can add them to the list to see if Wed hit the 600 car mark. ?
