It's not a big deal, but we all know that an impressive, clever menu system, that handled these issues innovatively, would be the biggest improvement to GT5 possible. We spend a lot of time in the menus and they are not very good.

I completely understand that. Now that you mention it, I do remember thinking to myself that exact thought. There's just too much time spent with getting the car ready, equipped with necessary parts.

If there were more parts available that affected PP, an auto-upgrade feature would be neat. Just select a PP range, and the game would select parts for you. You review what has been selected, and purchase the parts you want. Kinda like FM3, except that it didn't select adjustable parts and you had to go pick them yourself.

Sorry if this has been mentioned before but looks like the source "0_0_0" faked his predictions:

Too late. this discussion was interesting.

Besides, I don't want them to work on the PSVita. That's what it "could" have been. Even though it's easier to work on that than the PS3, people should be done with portable GT. If anything, it's a cheap way of making money since so many people already have a PS3, and not that many people would want to buy a PSVita just for GT.

It really does, and at first, I was like :nervous:, but then, :).

Come to think of it, PD would have announced they were going to be at E3, I'm sure. And Kaz on his twitter.

It's nice to get some truth out of it, but it's still bad news for people expecting something new.

I was completely expecting PD to announce more than just a new game at E3. So I'm one of those people. But who knows, we still might.

3 full more days until Sony's Press Conference

At the very least, some DLC would be nice.

I think I got spoiled by FM3. I liked getting regular DLC, but didn't like the bugs it had and the unwillingness to fix it. I just always figured that when GT5 came along there would be DLC, and with better quality control/testing.

Seems likely DLC will come, considering PD is waiting for the PSN to "calm down".

And weird thing happened a little bit ago. As I was looking through my brother's PS Store "download history", I found the GT HD Trial. I downloaded it, expecting it not to let me play. Well, it did and I THINK, the physics are better. My brother even said he felt it. Just something felt very different. Not to mention the 3D modeled spectators. The Cappucino felt heavy, but much more real for some reason. The Integra that my brother drove for a lap real quick made him feel like he can feel that grip from the car in an excellent way. In a way that GT5 doesn't feel. It may be because the car felt heavier, physics-wise. But I just don't know.

Oh and guess what?

The leaderboard was still up-and-running. There were 5 other Lap Times I saw for TODAY. Account names and everything. By everything, I mean a replay of the fastest time.

First of all, PD cancelled GT HD, out of nowhere for reasons I don't know or can't remember hearing about. Secondly, the PS Store doesn't even have the HD Trial anymore, which was why I was so surprised to see it worked from downloading it from the download history. Last, drifting felt much more complex than it does in GT5. Recovering from mistakes felt almost impossible/realistic to the point that it made me smile. I just don't understand it.

Does anyone else still have it? :dopey:

slightly off topic. I dont know if this is bad or good news to some, but on a weekly podcast on gametrailer, some of the people were invited to basically a preview of things they will show at e3, and they said the sony conference will be mostly about the the NPG, and game we already heard about, but on ign there is a super secret sony game on there list. Anyway will find out in 3 days.

http://www.gametrailers.com/video/episode-162-invisible-walls/714679 the pod cast, its a big e3 preview, these guys are pretty funny.

I don't think it will ever come but still:

Gran Turismo: On the road

Roadracing only, with tracks like Monaco, Valencia, Singapore and more.

I don't think so. Yes, a lot of NGP, but not most. Sony has too much to reveal for it to be mostly about NGP.

E3 will probably be all about 3D, NGP an PSN.The people at SONY know they got a strong Lineup this year, I would say they got the strongest by far, so they will try to push hardware, NGP and 3D TVs. 3D TVs by releasing new footage of Uncharted 3 in 3D, some Killzone 3 again (for the show) and hopefully Resistance 3.

GT5 will probably not be shown at the press conference, but they might show something on the showfloor. They might show DLC, but i think its going to be more about community Features, such as GT Accademy, or some events they will be hosting in the future.

I personally think there will be no DLC in the future, maybe one or new cars with a new update, but no major DLC pack with tracks and cars. They will probably save up the new cars and Tracks for GT6.

It'd be neat if they could release a pack or two(10 cars, 1 track each?) and say 'We didn't have this finished in time for launch, but we wanted you to have it now. These things will be in GT6 too, and we're already working on adding even more for you guys. Keep your eyes on the road for more Gran Turismo 6 content.'

I'm only speculating because they/we really, really don't need the PSN for the update to be downloaded.

True. I heard the JP gov't is really concerned about the security issue, so it might take some time before Sony can convince them that they've fixed things to a reasonable degree. I suppose everyone else will get PSN back before Japan.

It would appear that this didn't happen then, maybe it got pulled, or maybe it was just a rumour after all.

Never mind, one day GT5 (or maybe 6) will catch my interest again. I'll play it for days on end and forget all the flaws that are there. Then something else will come along (forza 4 probably) and I'll get lured in by that.

I'm still not certain we will ever see DLC. Maybe they will upgrade a few standards over time, but have yet to see anything that suggests we will get new content in this game.

There are the racing suits. thats new:sly:

I highly doubt no wait I'm 100% sure it won't be TT2, GT5SpecII, GT6 nor GT6P, probably GT5 NGP, but I doubt it's a GT related, I remember Kaz talking a year and a half about a RPG, I'll put my money on this:tup:
