RE: Wagner threatening to pull out of Bakhmut:

Episode 2 Whatever GIF

Kadurov would send his tictok warriors in Bahmut if Wagner retreat. Like humiliation of one paramilitary group isn't enough 🤣

Since nobody has posted it yet: Prighozhin has announced that Wagner will be retreating from Bakhmut next week. There's a video of him going ballistic over their lack of ammunition and he's adressing Shoigu and Gerasimov directly while showing dead Wagner soldiers in the back of shot. The video is already censored to comply with Youtube guidelines, but I'm putting it in a spoiler nonetheless. Also, language warning.

edit: I might've jumped the gun a bit. There's conflicting information out there whether he's only threatened or actually announced the withdrawal from the city on May 10th.

Update:
Wagner getting ammo and not leaving Bahmut positions. Its even getting reinforcements from other directions. Most likely, there would be last assault to finally capture road to Hromovoe until May 9.

Broken legs, head and lungs trauma. Suspect already captured by police.
Russia probably lied about the Suspect, they seem to to lie quite a lot about a lot things. They have become a bit of a joke with their statements and false information. The recent fireworks display above Kremlin looked very desperate.

Prigojin again complaining about lack of ammo. Also, he said something about ded(old men) who don't know **** about current situation and that he possibility is a mudac(~ moron)

Smallest parade in Moscow I've ever seen.

In the mean time, Russia placed a stage and a big screen on the border with Estonia, in Ivangorod to show a concert to people of Narva city that is across the river.

Estonia in return hanged a poster with Putin.

Russian officials met with Estonian border guards on the bridge connecting the countries and asked to remove the poster, but they answered- "no"

Pretty small thing to get that upset by, particularly for a side that started with the passive aggressive bull in the first place.

You have some magnificent population of vatnics over there, btw. Also, Ivangorod/Narva border makes me feel Berlin Wall flashbacks.

Not sure what happened in city centre of SPB, but Z-symbolics are nonexistent in residential areas(as always). Yet, city is full of Victory Banners and state flags. The ribbon of Saint George isn't as popular as it was prewar. Feels like Victory day is dead.

There's plenty of them in other places too.
For sure. Other Baltic states population, Putinversteher, Brighton Beach population, some of repatriated jews and Ukrainian vatnics.

Maybe the associations with Georgia and England are embarrassing given the circumstances.
Its became simbol of aggression, not Victory Day. While state put it everywhere, general population in SPB lost interest to it.

Sounds like an direct application to be thrown out of a window while drinking tea.
IMO, no one reporting about this to Putler. Prigojin said it was reference to Gerasimov. But Gerasimov doesn't have "bunkerniy ded" nickname.

I think that Putin is now in the same mental state as Hitler in late 44. Shoving around men and material that aren't there anymore.

I wonder how much longer the Russian people will put up with Putin before they throw him out of a window.
Well, Stalin executed and deported how many Russians into gulags when he seized power? And how many starved and died from poverty during his disastrous reign? Sadly, looking at Russia's more recent history I don't see the Russian citizen do anything to get rid of the current leadership. They endured FAR worse and nothing happened.
And really, all those that would follow in Putin's footsteps aren't any better - most of the ruling elite would have to be purged at this point and that is not going to happen.

Maybe I'm a pessimist but I don't see things getting a lot better for the Russians in the near future.

Agree, as much as I’d love for the Russians to have rid of Putler and his kin and for some semblance of calm prosperous life after this toxic war is done. I just don’t see them rising up to take the opportunity, not due to any kind of laziness or fear, but the shear corrupt nature of the politicians and ruling classes. It’s a shame really, they have some beautiful things and it’s was always a place I’d love to go to, however maybe not that this time.

I wonder what sort of conditions Britain placed on them, aside from no incursions into undisputed Russian territory. No attacking Crimea?

No attacking Crimea
Crimea is totally fine to be hit, according to US and UK. Ukraine could do what they want on their territory. Actually, HARMs already hitting targets in conventional RF territories, so its also not that big of a problem. Only full scale assault on Taganrog or Belgorod could be a problem, imo.

I heard that tank had an accident when they tried to load it on a truck after the parade. Allegedly it fell off the truck and rolled over.
No wonder all of the tanks stayed away. The only one that showed up got damaged.
