This is exactly what I mean about tuners getting their cars shared, and at least having open friend slots.
20 tuners = 20 friend requests.
6 drivers = 6 friend requests.
The tuners should be the ones sending FR's out, not the other way around.

Good work sprplay, sorry to hear you lost some time, thanks for participating even if you don't get those last cars done, you've held up your end in my book. 👍

What an amazing car once you get the hang of it. A collos with 2tons, which feels slow, more like a 450pp car until you look at the speedometer and notice how fast you're going. This heavy thing needs early breaking in the straight, otherwise the outside tyres will go red, and the back will come round. But even then its easy to countersteer. Good neutral cornering and not the slightest wheelspin at corner exit, which makes me wonder, if you could even shorten the gears for auto-trans. 1:31,134

That's what i call "fit to your driving style" , Ok, congratulations, but i ask to the boss of this shootout, that i did'nt see since a long time on his thread, how can we do to process the times of a testers who don't have finished his test ? Average time for the others ?

While obviously Dylan will have the final say in the matter, I believe in all fairness that only the times of the drivers who drive all the cars can be used. There is so much variation in times and what cars are favored by a given testers driving style that I don't believe you could give an accurate time for untested cars. I know for the FF shootout I only used the times generated by the 7 drivers who tested all the cars. There were a couple of drivers who only needed to test 4 or 5 more cars, but even giving them an extra day and a half they couldn't complete all tests, so their times were dropped from the final calculations.
 
Yes only testers who have completed all cars times are used. If you didnt put the time in to do everyone's than you shouldn't of bothered to even sign up

Pfft. Wrong. Wrong. Wrong and wrong again.:P If we couldn't do everyone's cuz of time restrictions but try our best to squeeze as much testing as we can into what little time we have, does that mean its our fault for signing up or just misfortune that we didn't have as much time as we had hoped? It's all in good fun anyways mate, don't take this too seriously. This shootout is merely a gathering of tuners with a few cars and drivers thrown in… :D

Good fun to drive this car, even though I couldn't do any fast laps with it. Quite sensitive to steering input and likes to get instable on corner exit if you over-do, but no flaws unless I didn't manage to get it to a decent speed. It was just the opposite to the Pikes Paek driven before: It felt fast but was slow. Perhaps with more time I would have managed to take benefit from its fast corner speeds and late breaking points due to lightweight. 1:38,225

Thanks spr. I'm trying to put together a version of this car that will be a bit more accessible to everyone. I ran this setup around London in the Lightweight Seasonal, it really, really doesn't like curbs or bumps. Laguna Seca is a very 'flat/smooth' track and you only notice how loose and light the car is under heavy braking and corner exit.

Hi, you have 6 cars to test not 5 ,i think you forget the Mafiaboy gallardo.

Who share the cars or who have to send FR ,i really don't know. I can't see this information anywhere on first page.

Ugh damn, no time to get to GT5. I'll just do the testing when I have the time. TF2 keeps bugging me with its errors... :mad:

Really. It's no more fun. This shootout layout is not working at all , and the result will not have any signification. The purpose is to test and learn something about different way to tune a car. For this we need reliables results. Sorry , that's what i think.

I did send a FR to uMadson? Awhile ago but I'm not sure it was accepted. If not I will not be home till very late today or early tomorrow, don't know if that will cause a problem?
 
Just on briefly but my initial testing is done! I was up until 2am driving last night because I could. :D Lots of fun to be had in some of those last cars. I will get the results up today and since the deadline has been extended the second runs will be easier. 👍
