Guys, remember not to discuss illegal activities in here, like where to obtain ISO's and emulation software.

ok... Still yet, I can repost what I found in that video, can I?
As I said, I found something weird in the sky while watching a video with Beta Grindelwald on an early GT2 Demo (Euro Demo 87 and McDonald's demo 1):

What could it be? It looks like a whole track.

Could it be birds, the other side of the track, or some kind of flying objects? 💡

-> ...

^ I would think thats a good thing on the Drift option on the Arcade Mode! :sly:

Yet, with my average drifting skills, I can't pull out a drift in the Corkscrew with a Viper. I tried this yesterday (not with the Viper, but with a FR Corvette, same thing only more beautiful) and I spun out. Three times. After a perfect drifting lap so far.

On the flying object, I think it's:

:lol::lol:

Just kidding. I think it's prbably some flying pieces of scenery of some possible track, like Eiger Path (yes, you heard right) or Matterhorn (nothing wrong with your hearing)... There are some pointy objects, perhaps houses, and some round objects (trees, I think). If you could just drive through that wall, you could see what's all the fuss... It leaves me to think there is an Eiger Path...

That's what I also thought, and as I saw on Gran Turismo wikipedia, Grindelwald is only a few miles away from Eiger, so they probably wanted to make Grindelwald visible from Eiger Path and vice versa. Also, Matterhorn? Is it a town or a hidden track?

Matterhorn is the new track for GT6. :)

Oh! So, does anyone have Euro Demo 87 or McDonald's Demo Disc 1, so he can see what it is?

I have a demo that's similar to those 2, the only difference is the speed is measured in mph rather than km/h.

EDIT: Well, I tried getting outside the early Grindelwald course, but I couldn't. It's odd, I couldn't find one are the a passable invisible wall. What appears outside on the course though appears to be just some left over track textures possibly. Kinda like what was found at laguna seca.

BisharpVercetti, I searched in my CD storage\graveyard and I have the Euro Disc (Future) 97, will it have the desired effects?

Also, I think that there was going to be NASCAR Racing in GT2, because there is a racing modification and a track that match (Taurus SHO RM and hidden Indi track on demos)

Yeah, that really is old news. Of course, it could have been possible considering those factors for Nascar to be featured in GT2 in some way.

Nah I don't think it would be visible from there.
It could be if I could figure out a way to get outside the course. Of course, I find that pointless sense what's outside of Grindelwald is possibly like what I said before, just some left over track textures.

Anyway, I don't think there's much left to look for in GT2. Everything has been discovered pretty much. Unless, someone comes along and hacks a GT2 test drive disc to find anymore hidden data.

Wowowowowoooooow! If it is left over textures, wouldn't it disappear by the time you got near it? It doesn't do so!

Yes, when you're close, the textures will disappear, but from my experience of going outside of race courses in GT2; I know that textures as such will reappear if you get a far enough distance from them.

Anyway, I'm just going to share some early GT2 screenshots that I've found on Gamespot.

GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! We need to find that E2 Disc! IT LOOKS INTERESTING! And it has maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaany hidden content-nt-nt-nt-nt-nt!!
Also, what you call leftover texture was in the same spot all the time! So it can't be one!

E2 disc? I think you mean the E3 demo.

Anyway, I made a slideshow style video that has just about every early screenshot I could find on gamespot and ign about GT2.

Could someone try the position modifier code?

I understand you guys are trying to cover your arses against every legal eventuality, but I wish you would stop constantly lumping emulation software with illegal piracy. If you go on emulation forums, they take the subject of people asking where to get uploaded ISOs and BIOS dumps pretty seriously as well. They are 2 completely different things. I for one am the owner of a PS1 as well as all the games that I currently play on the emulator and I made the .bin files myself using a freeware program, because I didn't want to place any more wear on the old discs. As long as you have a physical console and physical copies of the games that you are playing, I don't see what the problem is legally. It's no different to ripping your own CDs to play on an MP3 player.

Back to the subject, I used to have euro demo 87. You could basically only use arcade mode, and even then you could only use either the mustang or the evo VI and you could only race them around rome circuit. You could access gran turismo mode but all it did was basically give you an idea of how the new "city" was going to be laid out in terms of the car dealerships and everything, since almost everything, including the races, was marked as closed.

Have a look at Emulation - Piracy by another name, which describes our policy. If you still have issues after seeing that, you can take it up with the author of that thread.

I can't. I don't know how to operate it!
While my Gameshark is lost, my pc broken(posting trough Ipad)i cant try it. I think that you need to put the coordenates where do you want to go, but youu will need the addresses and the coordinates, i think:)

I guess noone found anything new about GT2. Which I guess makes sense, we pretty much dug through everypart of the game and demos. The only way to find anything else would be to get an early demo like the E3 1999 one, but that's probably not going to happen.

Anyway, I'm now just doing simple GT2 things, using gameshark to compare to small things about the game such as some of the cars with each other. I'm now comparing the Opel Vectra to the Vauxhall one.

EDIT: I also attempted to use some body codes for some of the beta cars that were available in the demos into the final GT2, but no luck with that. I guess the bodies were deleted at this point.
