why are you all complaining? be happy, it's for free and no one says that you have to use this content....what should I do, working in a office? better to play a lousy singleplayer than working, hahaha
I really dont wanna say it but...
The GT fanbase has reached Sonic fanbase levels of awful.
Hell even worser at this point than the Smash community....

Well, in all honesty, what did you expect? Rubber banding, mindless AI, and dumbing down campaign times after 1.06, and decades of GT should’ve given you a clue that GT League won’t magically turn out as a challenging, thus rewarding experience. It’s for people who don’t mind wasting time ticking off boxes in a game for arbitrary achievements.Servers were still down when I knocked out all of the Beginner Class (which was incredibly boring) and then when the server came back up I tried connecting for 30 min and it would not... I had to close the application and come back in order to play and I knew this was going to erase that miserable progress I had just made. I might not even go back to GT League tbh. It was very boring and unrewarding. Just my thoughts
I can't speak for everyone but I imagine that most of us would have rather they just spent this time developing more tracks instead.
This doesn't really add anything we didn't have before- it just saves super lazy people from having to go through the hassle of setting up a custom race. Those payouts aren't anything to write home about.
I'm not particularly upset about it myself though.
Cost is not an excuse for competent implication. Never has been, never will be. The CONTENT provided is welcome. For those who really hate this new old school mode, I have to ask, do you STILL think those old GT titles were the best ever? Because this is what we got, but with infinitely better graphics and far better physics.
If you like GT Sport, there are other things to do. Now you just have a few more options involved, like new cars and refurbished tracks. Maybe even some polished up A.I. code. You can still do your Arcade Mode racing offline, still set up random races of whatever you want, within reason of course. It just takes 10 minutes or so to configure it well. I'd still prefer a full featured game with a savable racing season worth of events we can make, trade sell, whatever we want. At least we have the cars for the most point. Maybe next update or so we can have this awesome present.
And just how much did this cost you again?
I can pick up a little box and talk to my friend that lives on the other side of the planet in about 20 seconds but, "fixing it is not really possible"? Please.Yeah, this was always my concern. This game was not designed to accommodate this kind of gameplay. Fixing it is not really possible.
My recommendation is to just take this as some (free) additional gameplay and work with it.

This clash though is hardly exclusive to GT, the whole gaming landscape is divided into gamers who play for their ego, and those that play to win. In the case of GTS I just wish they’d not forget about the latter.
But ironically, there seems to be more people complaining about people complaining than actual complaints about GT League. Just an observation.
If that's the takeaway you got from my post, i think you misunderstood. Thanks for insulting me and anyone else who wanted this just because it wasn’t something you wanted.
