In a world full of loot boxes , paid DLC and so on and thankful for this nostalgic gift from PD.
When I get off work today, and I’m done for the holiday , I’m going to put on some good music and beeeze trough gt league like it’s 1999 again .
PD doesnt want to fill a GT mode with the same six tracks over and over again. This will be an ever-expanding GT mode with more content added to it over every new content update. They worked with what they had for the first update and more will come.
Even to the point of throwing the word "toxic" into the mix. But hey, that's the internet for ya.But ironically, there seems to be more people complaining about people complaining than actual complaints about GT League. Just an observation.
Stand alone mode isn't an insurmountable problem, nor is it even a particularly large one for an organization with the size and budget of PD. It's perfectly feasible to do so, they either didn't think of it, or did and don't care enough to do anything about it. We're not flying to the moon here, just putting a partition in your virtual bank account. It's not that hard. So, it is possible to fix but it's not feasible for PD to fix it.
The problem is, for this to work it had to be a stand alone mode. Seperate from the existing progression the player had already made over the last few months. The reason this is important is that that is where the gameplay loop exists in GT Career's.
Championship > Buy Car > Win > Buy faster car > Championship
Without that, you're left with simply a set of mundane tasks without any progression. Now, that's fine because it's free and all, but still...
And breeze through it you will, there's really not much there unfortunately, I'm already done with it.
That would be great. However, I haven't seen any notice or indication that they intend to do what you are talking about. I hope you are correct. I'm not complaining abut what we have to work with now. Some tweaks would be nice. Qualifying and more competent AI would help. It is what it is, and I will use it for what it is.PD doesnt want to fill a GT mode with the same six tracks over and over again. Well, my first experience is the AI does some weird shenanigans at moments :
Also, it's freaking slow, but hey, I only tried Sunday Cup right now.

Im happy with what we got at the moment. Glad that the Discovery section has been sped up, before the update for me it was a real slog.
Somebody asked is the AI challenging and I have mixed feelings. First off i only played the beginners league so maybe thats one reason the AI is a bit off but I could swear there is some rubber banding going on. Im in the lead by 4 seconds and all of a sudden in the last turn the AI is grinding with me (we have same car).
Another example I managed to catch in my playthrough, it is very common for AI to make mistakes which is either the beginner level thing or they are just plain stupid sometimes. For example here in my vid you will see the AI behind me go off track in 4 corners in a row. One of them he hits the wall full speed ahead with nobody behind him. And this wasnt the first time for me, just after so many times I decides to document it. Here ya go:

You need to play it yourself before making a decision. It’s a lot fun.The current GT Sport price cut on PSN coinciding with this nostalgic update looks like a slightly desperate attempt to lure thousands of lost fans back into the fold. Admittedly, I was tempted until I read the underwhelming reception. I'm still undecided, but ultimately I'd say more content needs to be added before PD sees my money again.
By the way, this thread was kind of hard to read thanks to all the posts dedicated solely to complaints over people's complaints. Not to moderate the discussion, but rarely have I seen a thread with so much tiresome clutter to skip through.
Yes please!

There will be additions to it in 2018To be honest im happy we got gt mode. One thing there is not enough events to be honest. Only two endurance races??
I hope in the future Gt mode gets expanded!!!

That is ********!In the Porsche endurance race it starts you 45 seconds behind the leader and with just over a half tank of gas. Now I’m all for a challenge but at least start us out with a full tank of gas.
There are currently over 1000 items on offer in the EU PSN Christmas sale, including most of this Q4's biggest releases. GT Sport was released 2 months ago. This is how business works and you rack up multi-million sales, supporting the community, and price adjusting to maintain momentum.

GT Sport already has dozens of hours of content that's far more compelling than anything in previous GT's.
