Ok its settled then. We'll go with what I wrote first:

SNAIL (GT Sport) Picks:
Catalunya - race car
Nurburgring GP - street car

Lobanaro (PCars) Picks:
Catalunya - race car
Nuburgring GP - street car

We will announce combos on Sunday. @aerolite - being the ring leader of your band of Lobanaro misfits - you post your selections. And when you post it, indicate which livery you will be using for both cars. Better yet, just post a screenshot of each car. That way SNAIL can choose a completely opposite livery which will make it easier to spot teammates in the race.

SNAIL will come up with a cool livery for our team and we will post a screenshot of our selections/livery. We have some pretty talented designers in SNAIL (Im not one of them). I suggest Lobannaro do the same for the Spurt cars. That way were all running the same colors/liveries all night and really make this feel like an official team event.

Looking forward to this boys. Its happening!

I love how it says gt sport, then race. Also does Lessen even play this game? How is he #8 lol

Also whats a sports car??
ALSO You sport guys are the misfits not us.
ALSO Aero is definately not our leader. I nominate Sgeti.
ALSO Liverys.. red vs blue? white vs dark? who cares vs who cares?

Street car** I think you guys know what I meant.
Honestly i wasnt sure. Aha
Also be aware that street cars on project cars are waaaaaaay different than street cars on gt sport. Project cars forces you to race on crappy tires, gt sport will let you run super softs.

ALSOOO Will those road cars be the "gr 3 road car" ? Id suggest banning those versions, theyre kind of limited, can only get them if they happen to be on sale

The whole idea of having each team use the same livery is just that - its a team event. And it helps identify whos who on track without having to look at the leaderboard. If SNAIL are in black cars, and Lobanaro are in yellow cars...if I see a black car and a yellow car ahead of me and I miss my brake point, I know which car to aim for

All jokes aside, it'll just be more fun and make this feel "official". The liveries are there for us to use so lets take advantage of it. And itll add to the replay value/pics if we decide to do that. I know I'll be streaming and hoping quite a few others will too.

I'll come up with a rough draft schedule for how I see the night going in the OP. I'm thinking a 10min qualifier on an open track before each race, then a 20min race.

Edit: or in true SNAIL fashion have R1 be decided in a qualifier and R2 be reverse grid. In Sport that would be easy to do, but in PCars I dont think theres a setting for reverse grid.

You challenged us. WE will come up with a rough draft schedule ;) JK these BOBs are useless when it comes to gt sport. pretty much useless on project cars too; if they dont have a week to make the room.

Team Lobannaro: please make sure the cars you choose arent part of any DLC package. We have a few guys who have only a barebones copy of PCars and I dont think its fair to have them shell out money just to participate.

SNAIL will be sure to choose cars that are affordable. As in it wont cost millions of credits. I dont have an exact figure but itd be wise to grind out some credits from now until Sunday so you can purchase the cars we choose right away and jump right into practice.

Colts..........shut up.
Yeah, we took that into consideration when choosing our cars, no dlc picks. What we have done is take mercy on you Spurt wanks and are picking cars that even you guys can drive. No seriously, we are using cars that will make the event more fun as opposed to making you guys struggle with trying to find the perfect tune. Which by the way, we all have no problem sharing tunes with you guys......we are generous that way on the DARK SIDE. Use the tuning race engineer to help solve immediate oversteer or understeer issues and then make small tweaks to fit your liking. I’m getting excited.

I added this rough draft schedule to the OP:

Friday Jan 25th
Schedule (EST):

9:00 PM

PCars 2 lobby open

9:20 PM
Begin 10min qualifier

9:30 PM
Race 1 (20mins)

9:55 PM
Change combos

10:00PM
Begin 10min qualifier

10:10PM
Race 2 (20mins)

10:35PM
Load GT Sport
Lobby open

10:45PM
Begin 10min qualifier

10:55PM
Race 3 (20mins)

11:20PM
Change combos

11:25PM
Begin 10min qualifier

11:35PM
Race 4 (20mins)

If all goes to plan itll be about the same length as your average SNAIL/Lobanaro night.

I'm thinking we'll start with PCars to begin the night. Since lobbies have voice comm enabled we'll be able to say our hellos and talk some crap before we start. Then before the qualifier or race we can hop into team party chat.

I know this event is already going to be epic, but let's make things just a little more interesting by putting some swag on the line! Each member of the winning team gets a 6" SNAIL decal in the color of their choice

Pretty optimistic schedule there, glad it’s Friday, cause we will be running late right from the get go I predick.
We’ll be doing our final car selections this Friday night. If you Spurt guys want to eavesdrop, I’ll broadcast the testing on YouTube at mikeymikeymotorbikey. Stay tuned for the time. I hope all my Lobanaro Homeys can make it for the test.

I would like to submit a livery for the GTSport SNAIL team( I can also create one for the PBugs crew) ,I will try to get one up tonight and will share a pic here.If everyone accepts the livery, they can post their respective driver numbers and I will put them on the cars and share on the GTSport activities board.Since we are known as the "Light(GTSpurt)" and "Dark(PBugs)" side I suggest that we "Spurt" guys have a light color scheme and the PBugs guys are Dark color scheme.Suggestions are welcome and encouraged!

All right you Spurt wankers, Lobanaro has got their **** together and come up with the two cars for you. We didn’t want to make it too hard for you. We realize you also have this Porsche in Spurt, but you will soon see how much better it drives in PCars!
It’s a shame we had to stay away from DLC cars, there’s some great ones in there!

Have we agreed on the Lobby Settings and track times yet?

The SNAIL Lobby settings are here (and in my signature below). I think the only change is to put tire wear to Zero too.

I believe lobby settings are how we run them in our respective leagues. Most of the main settings are in Report #1 in our thread.

TEAM SNAIL is proud to announce their selections:

Track: Catalunya 10:30 Fine weather
Car: ASTON MARTIN VI2 VANTAGE GT3 2012
Tires: Racing Hards

Track: Nurburgring GP 12:00 Fine weather
Car: ALPINE A110 PREMIERE EDITION 2017
Tires: Sport Mediums

The Aston is a pleasure to drive and fits Catalunya perfectly. The only problem is the cockpit view. Its difficult to see out of the left side of the car due to the size of the A pillar. But no other GR3 car drove as nicely as the Aston here, so if its a problem just use a different camera view.

We enjoyed testing the Porsche street car at Nurburgring, but I think choosing a slower car will help with closer tighter racing. The Alpine fit the bill and it also doesnt exploit the H gate shifter. Its a paddle car so the shifter has no advantage.

More details to follow. But combos are set - get to practicing!
