Yes my friend, i would like to have more time, but i have to travel to work again this week. No more GT5 till july. I did some super GT lately, i have to read the rules first and if i have a car ready to participate , i will present it.

Have a nice day everybody. :)

><(((((°>°°°°°°°°°°°

WHAT?!?! NO FISHY ANYMORE TILL JULY?!?!?! :( Well, enjoy your travels, we'll miss you, I'm sure.

erm whens the deadline

I'll go bug Nascar about that, I'm not entirely sure how long everyone needs either.

Seen as we are tuning machines that are already race tuned I dont see how people will need that long. Its like like we are tuning from bog standard, just tweeking :D Obviously it needs to be more than 2 weeks to get the numbers in :)

Hmm…4 weeks? Two to tune, two to test?

Answering to all question:
-Racing Hard tires.
-About engine upgrades, you're able to install what you want, as long as it stays 500HP (so Limiting the engine is valid.)
-It's not really necessary to call any car, since anyone can use any car, even though someone already called dibs on it. But if you want to call the name of the car you're tuning, I see no problem in it.
-The JGTC and the SuperGT cars will be running together in two distinctive categories, GT300 and GT500.
-No weight minimum.
-No tire wear.
-Offline.

I'm sorry about all the trouble, since it's my first shootout I'm a bit confused I must admit.

Thanks:tup:

You did miss one though:

By your description, it looks like a completely subjective testing procedure because the winner is the one with the most points given by the testers as to their personal preferences. Is that how it's going to work? Lap times don't count in the final standings?

Put me in for just GT300. Not sure if I'm going for the Wedsport IS-F or Cusco Impreza yet.

Need something good for the #VIPRacer spirit after the loss with the #VIPDTM thing? Join the GT500 side, we have nearly everyone from the GP with us! :D

Ooops  They gonna take account mostly for the prize. (fastest tuner and fastest tester win a 500k car and slowest tuner and slowest tester win a Prius :P)

Forgot that little bit :D

Put me down as a tuner for the GT300 class please :D

I still think I should be able to enter my Spoon FIT Racecar :grunpy:

I've already tuned all of the GT500 cars that I like though. I want to do something new. :D

#VIPSuperGT

The Spoon Fit is from a completely different race series.

#VIPSuperGT

And the JGTC Versions? Oh wait, it's the premium thing again, right?

Are we going to see a #VIPNASCAR, #VIPGroupB, #VIPLMP and such from now on?

I think a better idea for a Super GT tuning competition would be tuning road cars to GT300-like specs. If you see the real thing, you'll know the sense I make.

I would try the C-West Razo Silvia, but I think I'll be too strapped for time.

That'll be more a place for the Integra Type R RMs then…but you could do that. A GT300-inspired series for road cars as the next shootout idea!

Well, you have two weeks, so…if you're like me, that'll take you up to the start of the exams, pretty much. And tuning a car like the C-West takes at most 30 minutes. It's not that tricky. :P

I'm a premium snob. :dopey:

No, only if there's an IS-F involved.
Oh..... well okay then. It would probably crush the competition any ways :dopey:

Yeah. Having been in a Honda Fit myself, I can vouch for its insane speed. :scared:👍

Well I must say after that horrible IS-F Racing Concept my "Devil's Wandering Lamb" is an absolute joy to tune and drive.👍👍
I've probably already got it close to done although I do have a few things I want to try out for S&Gs.
Must say though that its a good thing we get free use of the power limiter because you have to use a ton of it to get down to 500HP.

I'll see if I have the time to do some tinkering with a Raybrig NSX I have lying around... although chances of that are slim, so don't put my name down just yet...

Wait, is the Cusco Advan Impreza '03 legit for GT300?

Of course, it's a GT300 car after all.

:dopey:

Honestly didn't realise that
I may tinker with that too then, I'll let you know about if I can participate (I so hope so) but time is scarce for me :(

What are the early estimates on lap times for the 300 class? Just ran a poor 1:50.xxx and like to know how far off I am :dopey:

Added something to the prize list.
-Every tester win a one hundred thousand car (100,000Cr).

Depending on the turn out of tuners, I'll consider joining in. And are the rules finalised yet? If so, no more excuses Andre, get in! GT500 is the GP area, it seems.
