Well, I'm not sure about that. I'm actually extremely confused as to what the hell I want from my cars, I don't want the testers to drive it in their sleep but I don't want it to look like I just copied and pasted the tune over from my GT500 car…so you might end up ahead of me if I can't get a clear view of what I want and just build a gooey mush of both.

I thought it was all covered in the life insurance? :dopey:

Gooey mush :yuck:... to tell you the truth mine is just an existing tune, with a butt load of limiter :dopey:... uh-oh I may have said to much

Well at least my wife and kids will get paid

@Onboy you must either have had a much different setup than my "Devil" is using or you were running it closer to its full HP because I've not had much problem with it wanting to get sideways unless your totally hamfisted with the throttle exiting corners. Even then its easy to get it back straight, of course I've taken the nearly 600ft-lb of torque into consideration with my driving so I don't shred the tires from 1st through 4th, if your to aggressive with the throttle all you'll see is a billowing cloud of smoke.

Well, bear in mind this, when I drove it, it was on a wet Suzuka with around 20% rain on the track, so that might have skewed the drive somewhat. And you limiting it to 500 from the original 570 or whatever it was also helps. :P

@Nascar, Well my car suddenly doesn't look that bad. A car that's 5 years older with a ruddy weird powerband and too much noise for the speed it actually gives is around 0.1 seconds down on that thing. And just to be clear…it is at 300hp right? No more, no less?

@Krenkme, Ahh…I see. The RX7 you got from DB in the roadster shootout? :P

Let me tell the truth, nope.. I totally forgot about that, let me limit it and see the time I get.

Limited it to 300HP, got a 1:47.101

Lance does have a point there, the actual trading limit is around 950k, since you can't actually trade say, an Enzo, which is 1,000,000.

Yes, of course, but the cars can get to the HP limit without having been fully broken in, and I was just wondering whether it was a requirement for entry.

As I said , you only have to meet the restric. the choice of break the car or not .... it's yours :)

It is not stated, but a non-broken in car can gain HP during testing, thus not making your car within the requirements. So to save headaches, I would say yes... but this is not my shootout :dopey:

Ah ok... Thanks for clearing that up :)

Despite the fact that now my chances of entering this shootout have decreased

Maybe its broken in already from when I bought it in the UCD...

/wishful thinking

No, 🤬, it's a prize car. :(
