Depending on the turn out of tuners, I'll consider joining in. And are the rules finalised yet? If so, no more excuses Andre, get in! GT500 is the GP area, it seems.

Yes they are. It's just the prizes that need some tweaking.

Oh, I see. Well, go fill your bank account. And since I can't access the profile pages on school since it doesn't load, can you go do my job for me ang bug him into this?

Right now, Favorite soccer team > Gran Turismo 5. And yeah, I'll can bug him

I'd be joining both classes, though if I can't submit my tunes for both classes, I'd just stick to the GT500 category.

And it shall be K-RZA of the Wu Tang Clan emerging as the King of the GP. :sly:

Well……your SL was slower than mine, your S2000 lost to both Madboi's Viper and my CT230RR, and I've never really seen you beat Roj…so nope.

just ran a 1.49:130 In my GT300 car. I dunno if that is a good time for a GT300 car but its as far as my driving skill takes me :D

Well then, I guess I'll have to hop into my GT300 and give it a go, see how far I get. :D

Also, from the times I'm seeing, 1:49.xxx seems about right.

Ok, having spend the last 30 odd minutes blasting around Fuji in my GT500 entry (yes, GT500, not JGTC now korza. :P), I have to say, I feel like I've improved in my skills. Which is good, since you need very, very precise inputs to drive my car, it seems.

And Michelin, since I'm probably going to play until 4AM in the morning and be done with the GT500 car as soon as I can, I may as well go for the GT300 class as well.

Im doing my GT500 car now. Just ran a 1:42.779. I've never touched these before so I dunno if thats good or bad. Im going with bad but there will be improvements made :)

Well, in my hands, the premium NSXs (apart from the ARTA, that's not tested yet) run in the 1:40s when they are stock, with the Epson being at the back of the pack for me.

Also, ran a 1:48.038 in my GT300 car with an adjusted diff. It's actually quite hard to tune one, mainly because I don't know what I want.

I'm jumping between making it loose and lairy like my GT500 car or making it a calmed down racer to compensate for killing the testers at the higher powered event.

I think its my driving that lets the car down. In good hands i think it could easy break into the 1:30's :D I'm happy with my GT300 entry. Sticks like glue and is easy to drive

Well, I've got my loose and deadly entry well into the 1:30s. :D Well, it's 300hp on racing tyres, it's not going to fight you much, is it?

My "Devil" is running low 1:40.XXX right now using an automatic transmission and the Ol' Wallbanger behind the wheel. Pretty sure I can get it into the 1:30s with a few more tweaks but doing so might make it a bit hairier to drive.:odd: Currently its a pretty safe and easy car to drive but I'm thinking that finding that extra little bit of speed will make it a bit harder for the drivers to get right.

Well…harder for you to get right. ;) I bet if I strapped you into my car and sent you on your way, your car would suddenly become a cinch to drive. Still, having driven that old Diablo at the 500+hp it has, just keeping from going sideways seems to be quite a task.

Either no one is giving there real times, or my driving has improved :scared: 1:47.6xx in my GT300 entry. I might just call it good and leave it alone :dopey:

Improved driving?! From a True Clueless?! What is this going to come to?! Hmm…well, given that you're faster than just about everyone and it's you, I say leave it or you'd leave the field behind. Go for more, I say.

About the prizes... Does it make sense to have a prize for all testers but not all tuners?
And that slowest prize should be given to both tuner and tester, as it might not be the tester's fault that he ran a slow lap, right?

I don't know if you saw, we have a pretty solid number of tuners, but I'm the only tester around.
And I changed the slowest prize to only the tester. ;)

It's a incentive to get people in on the testing, since we only have one guy there, the blanket guarantee that you'd get something even though you might not be the fastest out there is somewhat an encouragement to get you into testing.

Eh, it should be to both…at least, I believe that was the original idea.

Edit: Damn and fricking bugger. Tree'd by Michelin… :ouch:

Now that it came to my mind, what if the Prius is drawing back people attention to not test for the shootout? #ConspiracyMoment

I know. The speed is scaring me :nervous::lol: maybe I can find some speed in the gearing... maybe I should be a tester 💡

I think we're more scared than you are. I was driving fairly hard on that lap…and then you come along with your…whatever it is and blow it away. With you driving. I'm scared now, no more drag racing for me until I right this issue.

No, really, if you don't want to end up buried somewhere near the peak of Mount Fuji, don't test the GT500 class.

Well it's no Honda Beat, but I don't think that's stopping people from signing up. It's only two days old, give it time 👍

By the time everyone has there tune figured out, mine will be last as usual. No need to be scared yet :dopey:

I don't think my insurance will cover me driving the GT500's

Yea, the testers take more time to get into things than the tuners do, it's always been the case, if I recall correctly.

Well, I'm not sure about that. I'm actually extremely confused as to what the hell I want from my cars, I don't want the testers to drive it in their sleep but I don't want it to look like I just copied and pasted the tune over from my GT500 car…so you might end up ahead of me if I can't get a clear view of what I want and just build a gooey mush of both.

I thought it was all covered in the life insurance? :dopey:

@Onboy you must either have had a much different setup than my "Devil" is using or you were running it closer to its full HP because I've not had much problem with it wanting to get sideways unless your totally hamfisted with the throttle exiting corners. Even then its easy to get it back straight, of course I've taken the nearly 600ft-lb of torque into consideration with my driving so I don't shred the tires from 1st through 4th, if your to aggressive with the throttle all you'll see is a billowing cloud of smoke.

Oh and I'm supposedly getting a new phone today that will fix my internet problems so I can finally download the DLC and GTAcademy. Keep your fingers crossed.:embarrassed:
