I only found it in my UCD today actually :P
On another note, who's found the 2.06 update incredibly annoying? I was going to do some unofficial testing today since I have some time, but my internet is so sloooowwwwwww... 2 hours to install the damn thing.

2 hours?! I was done in 5 minutes! Don't update and play offline, just do the premium cars or transfer the settings onto one.

Well screw you then! My PS3 is wireless, and my internet is hopeless. :(
That's what I did for a while, although not testing, just tuning random things. Like an F40. :P

Same here, wireless. :P My internet has hope though.

I can't count how many tunes I started which never made it to 100% completion.

Knowing me…I'd probably find some way or other to make it kill you. Even with 100hp only.

It can get up to 100hp? :scared: Oh God I'm a goner ::dopey:.

I still owe you a tune from the last shootout, so you're going to keep me busy :dopey:

How much power can it make? 50?

I can't think of anything. I'd pass you something for you to help finish off, but that doesn't seem right.

I'm not sure, but I have one setup to run the Japanese classics seasonal @ Trial Mountain, that I won with (only when the Dome isn't in the race :dopey: )

That's fine. I'm sure you'll think of something.

How much power did that run? (I'm not bothered to go check :P)

It doesn't help that you've done quite a few cars already as well.

Also, small note to Bolverk, if you're going to do tests, update your posts with all the tests rather than have split tests, even if it's unofficial testing, it makes finding things easier for all of us. 👍

I don't know (away from home... like always :grumpy: )

What do you mean? I only have about 125+ tunes posted, and there's over what, 2000? : plenty of cars to chose :dopey:

Yea, only.

Hmm…a Ford of sorts? :dopey:

Just as long as it's not the RS200. That car hates me :grumpy:.

See, this is what tuners do when we don't get fed times and feedback. We go way off topic :dopey:

Even the axe-murdererlicious GT LM Spec II? :D Actually, I've tuned one of those, it's pretty good if I use a Krenkme style diff, i.e very low numbers.

Yup. Well, for you and me, anyway. And I fixed the smiley for you. :P

Eh…to keep this somewhat closer to the original topic, I've got a JGTC Raybrig which I was planning to use, it's tuned very closely to my preferred driving style (i.e lift off for rotation, power for stablity --> mild understeer) so the testers might not like it as much, but if you can, mind giving it a run? (It's not shared yet, ok, so get off my arse about it if you didn't read this bit. :P)

I don't know when I'll be home, but when I am I'll run it, as well as your current entries:tup:

Oh and thanks for fixing my "dooey"

Just to say and keep the GT500 tuners in some tension: GT500 tests on my part to be finished today. First car to break the 1:36 barrier was the GT-R of CSLACR.

I ran a 35.9 in my Takata, but it would take a D1G driver to reach 34's in my opinion.
Definitely.

Adrenaline, Congratulations. I just did a flying lap in your Takata Dome. Almost everything went as it should have, except the last corner, I think I butchered it slightly. 1:35.888 :)

Now to break that elusive yet seemingly impossible 34 barrier.
Make sure you push all the cars the same.
From the sound of your posts, everything you've already ran needs re-run due to your improvements.

IIRC you were running alien times at Suzuka, I take it you've never ran Fuji at all before?

Just noticed this. :ouch: It's very hard to see how I missed it though, given that there is only 1 non-Takata in the entire field of NSXs*. That's quite fast…no, scratch that, it's not, not compared to the Takatas. Same here.

*Unless I'm sorely misinformed, of course. Which, given today, is very likely.

@Krenkme, castration is the way forward. :dopey:
Actually it was the 2000 ARTA NSX I used with my tune I made last night.
Not a clue exactly how the ARTA '00 stacks against the other formidable NSX's of the early 2000's.

Just a question; isn’t there another GT300 class car not being reported? :odd:

I thought there was a Toyota Autobacs/ARTA MR2 Spyder GT300 standard car.
And if so has anyone entered one?

Or perhaps the car is a dog and just not worth the trouble tuning it? :P
Maybe Im losing it and no such car exists….but I have one....I think:crazy:

At any rate, just curious.
The MR2 blows arse, unfortunately. :indiff:
The Razo Silvia is the worst car for it's specs in the game I believe.

That's the sad part..Although Adrenaline's car was the fastest thus far (Not the nicest to drive, just fast). I got close to my current time early on - I just kept messing up :). I do plan on re-running most cars after I'm done with the group.

As far as Fuji, yeah you got it right. I've never really practiced much on the track so I'm not quite as good as I am on Suzuka. I seem to be warming up slightly to the track now though it still isn't my favorite place to be. I've got most sections nailed but I still have a few issues here and there.

Yeah, I've ran some (fastest lap of a 32 lap race against Tony1311, Aderrrm, and GTP_Timeattack) pretty wicked laps at Suzuka, so I expected you'd hit 34's off the bat here with the times you ran in that shootout.

I loved picking the GTR because nobody even whispered it's name, I'm actually wondering what the slightly better-handling(yes, yes it is) SC430's of Petronas or Denso might be able to do at this spec. Certainly at least 36's, I'll have to try one yet.

We do indeed.

@CSL - If this was Spa, I'd run some quick laps right off, I love Spa - but not here, I hate (more of dislike now) Fuji
I ran Spa a bit too much, I'm in a current "Spa recession", meaning I never drive there when possible.

The only really good time I have at Spa is set with pretty specific specs for a series, and of course, an online time.

I'm still in a Suzuka recession after the 1000km Suzuka Endurance event (race report in my signature and I know, shameless plug is shameless :P)

What sort of time did you run in your own Calsonic? I thought I'd run your car now and take a break from all the NSXs. It feels so different from the Takatas - what you said about going wide at the last corner makes so much more sense for your GT-R.

I thought picking the Diablo was going to be odd... seems I was wrong :dopey:
Don't feel bad krenkme, you know I love trying to tune the oddballs and I figured that the Diablo as the only non Japanese car in the bunch fit that bill. Didn't expect to see three of them since what I'd heard was that it wasn't really competitive.:odd:

CSL I think something may be wrong with your Calsonic..After a bunch of laps I noticed it was running at 485 HP. One of my first clues was that it was only reaching 175 MPH instead of the usual 178-180. Perhaps it needs an oil change? I was still getting mid to high 36's but I do believe an extra 15 HP would make a sweet difference.

Edit: The HP loss seems to be about 1-2HP per lap

I kind of picked it for the same reasons. Odd, non Japanese, different look to it, and well I had one just sitting in my garage :dopey:
