I kind of picked it for the same reasons. Odd, non Japanese, different look to it, and well I had one just sitting in my garage :dopey:

Same reasons I tuned the Cusco and the Supra, they just happened to turn up via a car ticket and the UCD respectively :P

GT500

XDesperado NOMAD Diablo '00: Maybe the low downforce played as role here, but I had to brake way earlier than I like,
couldn't make the 100R as fast as I like, but a fun ride having to adjust myself to drive the car to it's limits.
Time: 1:40.242

Onboy123 Raybring NSX '06: Gotta treat it with respect, or you die. When treated with respect, it actually rips the track on pieces. But it still try to kill you, mind that when driving it. This music describes the car.
Time: 1:38.666

CSLACR Calsonic GTR '08: Car really can be pushed to the limits without a problem, it doesn't try to kill you, it tries to take you from a turn to the next as fast as he can. Really stable and forgiving.
Time: 1:36.804

krenkme NOMAD Diablo '00: I had to fought with some oversteer, especially in the low speed corners. One of the fastest in the end of the long straight. Really good car. Maybe some tweaks could help this car be faster.
Time: 1:40.035

trackripper123 Castrol Tom's Supra '00: Little bit of oversteer, and in some turns I couldn't brake very hard and very late as I like, I had to brake a little, then adjust the car to break a bit harder again to make the turn, to not be pushed to the outside. Had to adjust myselft a bit to drive the car, great experience and a nice car is this Supra.
Time: 1:38.687

ugabugaz Takata Dome NSX '03: Pretty stable, but I had to battle with it a little bit, especially in the last turn, not only make the turn, but to keep the rear where it should be on the exit. Apart from that, really fast car.
Time: 1:37.458

MrGrado NOMAD Diablo '00: In some turns, I could make them really easy and fast, with no problem. In others, I felt like the car had a sudden loss of grip, because it took a time to respond to the handling input. In some turns exits, the rear did kick out a bit, which I had to control to keep it in it's place. I found the gears a bit long, but it was fast around the course.
Time: 1:39.573

Adrenaline Takata Dome NSX '03: One of the most stable and one of the most faster cars around GT500. But it gave me that false illusion of going much faster than I really was. I almost couldn't get it down to the 36's, even though I loved to drive it around Fuji. Nice job Adrenaline!
Time: 1:36.946

Motor City Hami Takata Dome NSX '03: Had to battle with it a little, but once I learned how to drive it, I just sliced all the turns like they we're cheese. Really fast, but treat it wrong and it will kill you no matter what.
Time: 1:37.091

praiano63/GeeBaby Takata Dome NSX '03: Easy, stable, and fast. Really, again. Just like the Celica, this car is the same thing. Can't really much say anything more than that.
Time: 1:36.577

Points
1st - praiano63/GeeBaby
2nd - CSLACR
3rd - Adrenaline
4th - Motor City Hami
5th - Onboy123

So close to Onboy's time. So close. :P

Thanks Nascar :) The oversteer was an issue in my testing as well, but I didn't have time to dial it out, so oh well :)

Onboy deserved that 5th place because his car made me actually fight with it. I usually hate cars like that, but it was so fun battling with it, that he deserved a point.

I just made the partial points, since not everyone have started/finished testing and posted their top 5.

Thanks for the test drive and review Nascar. It seems as though I am a mesh for your driving style. Could it be the DS3 since that is what I used to setup the car?

I don't know.

If possible when testing can device used for testing be listed, whether DS3 Manual / Auto or Wheel etc. Just trying to gain some knowledge from you guys.

You're really pitting me and Praiano against each other, aren't you?:P

Nah never, I am just trying to learn from the best at this tuning thing.

CSL, you test with a wheel right? If so I am egar to hear your views on my cars. Bare in mind I used a DS3 to tune so give me some feedback on that as well if you would please.

I actually meant Nascar with his 1-2 2-1 results and such.

Not my fault when Praiano, in collaboration with GeeBaby, and you, CSLACR, put up two of the best tunes. In each category.

And CSLACR, your GT-R tune made me remember how much I love the Calsonic GT-R, which was my first SuperGT car bought in GT5. Thanks for that.

CSL - Your car is done, Now give it an oil change :dopey:. I managed to get a good time (1:36.530) even with the car shedding horsepowers.

Also posted feedback for Adrenaline.

As always I save all replays.

How many laps did you drive it to start losing power, any idea?
I'm changing the oil anyway, just wondering how the other testers didn't spot it, since I think most check tunes after they make their run.

36.5 was my quick lap in the GTR, so that gives me high hopes for what I might get with P/G's or Adrenaline's Takata's. :)

It's as close to my car as you're going to get in this shootout mate.

And Nascar, I told you that you'd like it.

Around 20 minutes yesterday, and probably an hour and some odd minutes today. I do restart a lot though, since I rarely go a third lap and above. Had to get nice and settled with the GT-R

If I can't change the oil because I changed it before sharing it, there's not much I can do, around 130-140(definitely by 140) miles, the oil changes start wearing off, until you get out of and re-borrow the shared car.
It also applies to cars you own, but you can just change the oil on them.:)

I noticed that your car only had 499 hp after just 5 laps. I thought that you were just giving everyone else a little advantage??? I didn't notice whether it started at 500hp. I don't look at the tunes until after I have driven them.

It still hates you for castrating it, it just has no balls to kill you while you're driving it :P

Poor little guy :(. Maybe after the shootout I'll take him out for ice cream :D

Like giving it its power back :D...

... seriously, I thank you for your time, and effort, and for hosting a very fun shootout  I personaly have had alot of fun following the tuners and testers and would like to say a big THANK YOU
for all the fun.

Ok guys…small change of plan from me. Since I'm on study leave and it's actually quite boring once revisions are all done, I'm going to sign on the dotted line as a tester for the GT500s.

Also because the thread needs more activity. WHERE'S MY FEEDBACK, SLACKER?!?!?!??

:scared: try not to fall asleep driving my Diablo, the boring tuner that I am :sly:...:dopey:

I'd do your car right after I drive Desperado's one, a mad lunatic followed by…something that is that.

It seems, so far, that they are quite different. So running them back to back might make your head explode :nervous: :(
