From Gamegossip.com:
Just shy of an hour ago, we reported on THQs presentation at the 20th Annual Technology Conference and now, following that, we have the full results of Take-Two Interactives presentation. Released via web broadcast, the call was with Take-Two CFO Karl Winters and Cindi Buckwalker, Executive VP, and had a huge focus on software. First and foremost, Take-Two went over software sales covering many of its top franchise. We have a list of those figures below.
Take-Two Software Sales Figures
# Grand Theft Auto (entire series): Over 25 million units
# Grand Theft Auto 3 & Vice City (separate from rest of series): Over 20 million units
# Midnight Club: Over 3 million units
# Max Payne: Over 4 million units
# Smugglers Run: Over 1 million
# Tropico: Over 500,000 units
# Mafia: Over 800,000 units (PC)
# Conflict: Desert Storm: Over 800,000 units
Aside from software sales figures, Take-Two Interactive announced a few release dates covering key titles. Specifically, Take-Two revealed that the console version of Mafia will be released post X-mas, around early January. This comes on top of the company revealing that Manhunt is set for a November 19th release on the PlayStation 2. Looking ahead, Take-Two announced that mid-2004 would see the release of The Warriors from Rockstar. This comes on top of whats most likely the largest bit of news from it all, that Grand Theft Auto 5 (a specific name wasnt revealed) will ship during late 2004. All things considered, we'll probably have more on publisher presentations throughout the day.
Dunno if this is old news or not but I just found this on gamegossip.com.
