Rubberbanding in this game is a complete joke. Definitely needs to be changed. It's so bad that the first 80% of a race doesn't make any difference to the result. Only what happens in the last 20% has any bearing on the final result. I've been over 40 seconds behind early in a race and still won, yet make a slight mistake in the last 20% of the race after driving the perfect race up until that point and you can go from first to fourth easily.

I've been playing all weekend and got 6 hours in. I'm just speeding through the main part of the game, and I think I'm going to rest and enjoy cruising in my new rides before taking on Episode 4.I'm not even up to that and I've played the game 4 times for about 12 hours totalThen again I'm driving to a lot of places.

Does anyone else think nights are a bit too short?

Anyone else noticed, that during nights the car lights doesnt show on street?
I drove the Hypercar race 1 now and during the forest section i realized that my car lights are not showing on the street - so i havent seen anything there... If thats the fact..thats pretty lame
All in all TC2 is a funny game, but hey...that grafics are back into 2006...horrible
...and also the online gameplay vs other drivers is way better in horizon... looks like that game is more like a more open world game than NFS, with worser handling, worser force feedback and way worser grafics

Anyone on Xbox happen to know why the Screenshot feature doesn't work correctly with this game? They go to my www.xboxdvr.com profile but every time I try to view them it says its been deleted. Only ever happened with this game, to date.

I've also been having trouble accessing my images, but I get them from http://xboxclips.com/. Even then, I get this error message:
I'm not sure if it is a fault with the Xbox API, but it seems to have started since I've been playing the full version of The Crew 2.

I haven't tried it with other games since I bought the Crew 2 late last night, so I'm not sure if it's affecting my whole console now, so I'll have to give that a shot tonight. However, I did notice that every time I would take a screenshot or video it would say something like "resyncing" when it goes back to the game screen. Pretty impressed with TC2 so far and it's a lot of fun. I played all weekend and I'm still at pro level. I feel like I barely got anything done and that's actually a good thing. I was so distracted by exploring (SQUIRREL!) that I barely did the races. I got the free vehicles for each basic discipline and maybe did an extra car, plane, and boat race, but most of my time was spent exploring and finding live rewards.
This launch was so much smoother than the Crew's was, mainly because the physics are so much better at launch and the CaRPG formula they are using now is so much better. No more icy handling 'until U learn da skillz brah' and 'get Gud', that system is gone and has been replaced by a much more fun, friendly approach. The game is still hard though, maybe not as bad as the first (I completed the first game and some races were very difficult), but I found some of the boat races specifically to be difficult. The race on Lake Mead near Vegas was a bit of a chore. I kept finishing 3rd and then finally second after 4 attempts. I finished first in that race during the closed beta without issue on my 2nd try. Then I did a boat race on the open ocean near LA and it was more on the easy side. The rubber-banding definitely needs to be balanced, it can be quite annoying when you are in first place for 75% of the race and way ahead of the pack just to take one small corner wide and then they're suddenly on you.
I finally messed with the livery editor (didn't during the beta at all), so glad they included a full fledged editor this time, it something the community really wanted and they listened. All in all, very happy with this game and purchase, it really is a lot of fun to play.
PS- is there a way to adjust the screen size in game? Some of the text appears off screen in the menus, like it's zoomed in slightly too much. If not then I can try to find a way to adjust it with my TV's settings but it seems like they should've included one, most games do.

I got my platinum for this this afternoon took me less than a week, it's all a bit easy, i preferred the first game it encourages you to explore, big let down and with no mp till later in the year it has no replay value, wish i waited till all the content is available, apart from the telltale series its the easiest platinum you can do. It had really bad frame rates issues even with my pro, the motor cross events look last gen. I haven't even touched on the chronic rubber banding.

I believe someone said that you need to turn off overscan.
I had mine on and had the same results and I had mine on.
Once I turned it off it worked.
