I'll take one for 1 dollar please!
If they award it to you based on this post, you'll probably have to pony up all the back parking fees, plus whatever it takes to recertify it so you can sell it.... probably needs tires, and who knows what's sloshing around in the fuels tanks after all this time. :)

Maybe you could sell it to a movie studio to get blown up!!!!

I don't think they misplaced it. I'm thinking like the article said, they ran out of money..

You'd think the first thing to do when going broke is try to sell the $100,000,000+ jet though unless they were too broke to buy a spot in the classifieds... anyway, I'll give them all the money in my left pocket for it. :D

How much combat use has the F-22 Raptor actually seen? I almost never hear anything about it, since most stories I read about the USAF only feature the F-15, F-16, A-10, and AC-130s performing airstrikes in the middle east.

Heck, has the F-22 ever even left friendly territory?

If not I wouldn't be surprised. The only missions these days are tactical strikes, and if there were any enemy fighters they could be dealt with handily by F-15's and F-16's.

This may or may not belong here but one thing I've wondered about is how would a plane react to a EMP or the after affects of a Thermonuclear explosion close by? I mean in terms of dropping one. Wouldn't the EMP knock the planes computers out? Or do they have something special to protect against that? I been playing AC again and there's some missions where they launch nuclear A2A missles and was wondering lol.

Well, the Enola Gay seemed to fly home just fine after dropping nukes on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, but that was in 1945, so they can't be compared with modern electronics. With the B-2 Spirit, I'm sure it would be traveling closer to it's top speed of around 600 MPH, compared to the B-29's 350 MPH. Additionally, the B-2 could fly much higher and be coated in materials that would minimize the effects of radiation. I know that conventional bombers would be painted in anti-flash white to reflect back some of the energy.

That explains most every Air Force plane in the late 50's being white. :P

It'd probably make a lot of lights flash and the plane "cough" but it'd be fine most likely (depending on distance).

The F-22 has done some work in Syria.

What...that's...dumb.

"Sir, how should we test our new fighter?"
"Use it for ground attack."
"Wha..."
"Just do it!"

I would disagree. There are not many opportunities or need for a pure air to air fighter. The F-22 being able to do more than just air to air engagements can and will be useful. Additionally, the F-22 can strike in places that a F-15E or F-16 could not easily. It is another tool in the toolbox.

The Honda Jet is now FAA approved. Here's proof.

 That's hilarious. I should've expected the audio to be swapped. I've got to say, the overall design is very appealing (Never thought business jets looked good until now) and I was surprised at how fast it accelerated. One thing to note is the placement of the engines on those strange upright supports.

This was in the related video section. Two questions:
1: What the hell is that prop plane?
2: Why is there a guy just chilling in the rear?

OV-10 bronco, used during Vietnam for recon purposes.

That one there sports a German livery.
