GTO is long OOP in Japan. All I found was this, going used from sellers for 200,000 yen.

You'd justify it by saying "When it goes out of print it'll be 2,000,000 yen... screw dat. And I don't wanna miss my chance to get ahold of it, so I gotta!"

If that was the MSRP, I wouldn't complain much about the price (Though the highest anime ever goes for the MSRP is 100,000 yen.), but I probably wouldn't buy it. I'd have to really, really, really, really love GTO to buy it, just like how I'd have to REALLY love Tenchi Muyo to get this if it were still in print.
