I was inspired by one of my favourites LM Edition cars, the Chevrolet Camaro LM Edition, i had to adapt the livery due to the different shape of the car but in the end it looks good.
Great job, I love it (and the original livery too)!

Credits sorted, the 100 decal limit seems to be fixed and I'm ready to start regretting my design choices until the point of no return, when I'll have to just accept and rush things to be able to submit my entry!

Absolutely no need to rush. This first round lasts the whole month. :)

When I first used the Evo VI TME on the Tokyo Expressway South Japan Clubman Cup 550 event, it triggered an memory I had stored away of the Gran Turismo 3 IA-1 license test; driving the Evo VI Rally car on the latter part of Tokyo R246. That moment forward I had to recreate the rally car version to scratch that itch I had. I specifically wanted to do the GT3 version of the car because subsequent games removed the Tommi decals and the rally specific decals. Just seemed a little more lively than not having them.

In my research for this livery I found something interesting about the GT3 version; the livery and numberplates are from two different rallies that year. The livery seems to be from Rally New Zealand while the numberplates are from Rallye de Portugal. Not sure why they didn't just use the Rally New Zealand numberplates if they wanted the Tommi logos or go with a censored version of the Portuguese livery like in Gran Turismo 2.

Now I'm not going to say that the Evo VI Rally Car is in the pantheon of Gran Turismo Greats, heck it isn't even the most popular Evo rally car in GT3 judging by Google images, but it's still an absolutely classic livery. In my replaying of the older GT games it has become sort of a favorite of mine, fairly quick and fairly easy to unlock. Just all around fun car.

Had some fun with this one. The inspiration is from the 98 Ford Escort Rally Car that first appeared in GT2. I used the GT4 version for full inspiration as that was based on the WRC car from 97-98. I had to make several decals for this one (number board, lineltex logo, sports cafe, Roger Clark, Valvoline, RMC 2022 hood plaque).

Livery and self made decals can be found in the showcase. I would link it but I can’t find a way to actually get the link to my profile from mobile.

I spot a new guy! @moxjkar - welcome, and nice entry!

Really wish we could enter two vehicles, just finished editing my replica of the Amuse Carbon R and it looks freaking amazing
I feel you! So many good ones we can make now. Weigh your decision, if you want to swap or not ;)

Hope I got that right, I'm a complete newbie here.

Inspired by a shot I took at Silverstone Classics a few years back

Welcome! I must ask, was this livery in a past GT? If it was, either remove this photo^ or link it, please. :)

These photos are absolutely stunning!

What are the settings you guys use? I saw the contest requirements but curious to know the temp and any other features you may use. Thanks.

Have fun and best of luck!

I’ve actually wondered about tweaking the settings just a tiny bit, I feel the background has a tiny bit green tint to it. But to keep it sinple for newcomers I decided not to, as the settings of the previous (GTS) comps could be daunting to those not too familiar with how the camera in GT works.

As pointed out by @Mires I will add in how to re-open a scape with settings and placement of an existing photo to make it easy for newcomers to join in even quicker in the next round.

Thanks, Raph. For answering what was needed in my absense. I try to pop in every couple of hours. :D
Inspired by the Vitz RM from GT2, adjusted to be a fictional Super Taikyu race car.
That is excellent! :D
