Oh yeah! That kart series was a good laugh, and cheers man.
Good times, mate. Good times.

Thanks cnd, polar and tbw. I think last night may have put me off DP as i really hate indy. Especially the double hairpin. Plus I Didn't feel overly comfortable with the car. Maybe my opinion will change for other tracks so i'll stay put down for the ferrari for now, but if there arent that many people in DP for the proper season I'll change to make up the numbers.
Oh and something miraculous happened last night, I could see storm for the entire race!
In real life the double hairpin is now just a chicane. It's much better (I watched the majority of the real race there) so hopefully it'll be fixed for the next game.
The real season should hopefully be a decent balance, with a solid DP field
Polar
Ant
Cnd
Seth
Brandon
So actually, we may need you in GT! That's a first!
R0ssingt0nWell I'm happy to go in either class! And for a brief moment during the race I thought I could have got 2nd... then I ran out of talent and cnd drove away from me :c I did get into the 1:25's for a lap though!
You were keeping up for a little bit. I had my car tuned for the long run. Ant was better than me the first 6 or 7 then I would reel him in the next 6 or 7. If we could've had less cautions, I might have been able to win it. I was hoping we would go green the whole way.
R0ssingt0nYou and Ant seemed to be pretty equal, so did polar and Seth... Then there was just me trundling around on my own. At least I was in third not last and after the 2nd caution I just wanted to get on with the race and go to the end. the third caution annoyed me a little bit.
cnd01Each caution was a gut punch to me. I was contemplating a 2 stop race, but went with 3. I could go 18 laps no problem on tires for a 3 stopper. The cautions made the race a lot shorter anyway.
R0ssingt0nEach caution helped me, i never really plan when i'm going to pit so stopping early is'nt really a problem. I like to get into a rythm though and go a while without stopping, and the cautions didnt really help that aspect.
How would one go about joining ?, I have no car prepared or anything, but I'm guessing everyone runs cars that are 'broken-in' ?, and I'm also seeing 4 names per car (or is it 2 person's w/ 2 names?), are cars shared or just simply the tune's ?
Thanks for doing this damu, I missed this post! We'll be starting preseasons in a fortnight. The thread for season 4 will be on Polar's signature soon, or in the previous post added whilst I was writing this and there's much discussion to go on regarding balance & incidents.
As it's still preseason a lot of cars will be fresh, my Audi was (we used the 5.2 last year). It's also why we forgave the 3 Audi scenario and Seth's lack of pre-race preparation restart.
Now DP is a one car class (Nissan R390 Road Car) that will have 8 cars when full.
GT on the other hand will have a 2 people per car limit. As it's still preseason, some people may swap cars. For example, I fancy giving the Camaro a spin at some point. It will also help counteract the OP arguments that may come to fruition.
Now CND and whomever agreed with the add 20 bhp to GT; you're playing with 4 balanced cars. 20bhp extra means more to the Audi / Ferrari than it will to the Aston. Instead of fiddling about with 4 cars to push DP towards GT, why not bring DP back to GT?
