I have heard of James notorious-ness, wrecking someone a lap ahead.
What happened exactly I dunno though.

2 and 3 actually, was me at Laguna Seca...

For details put simply he blocked me on the straight, the 2nd time I lapped him then half spun me in T1.. The 3rd time I lapped him, Polar was watching, he punted me way off track at the last turn...

Since then hes fired people from imaginary teams and cheated blatently thinking he'd get away with it. Not to mention the other crap he has done..

Same. I got JSTC 400 just doing this for fun.
Not good race for me, draft was awful and strategy was balls.

I had my kid grab me during the race and I turned to see him, so I overshot turn 1 and spun it around so as not to hit anyone. I was too slow on the straights. My best last was a 1:28.1 So I leave, put turbo 3 on and immediately with the same tune do a 1:26.3 offline I couldn't touch 305kmh in the draft with turbo 2. When I test with turbo 3 I do 307kmh by myself. Know better for next time.

Congrats Ant. I was faster at the end of the run, but couldn't hold a candle to him on new tires. I look forward to this year. GT needs about 20 more horsepower to keep the closing rate from being to high. I had a hard time judging distance because I'm not used to that much of a closing rate.

I took off turbochargers before the race because I wanted to see how the car drove for James' series. Then I installed engine 3 and just went in. That's when we restart. So I put turbo 2 on there figuring that would be ok, but top speed was pathetic. Turbo 3 I could go 8-10mph faster. Between the two turbos I was 2 seconds faster with the stage 3.

Oh yea 2 seconds easy at Indy. It would be close to 3 at Daytona.

I agree I was surprised how close to the lead he was, and he said in the other thread that he was running GT this season.

That's a bummer! Oh well, you guys will have fun racing him in GT!

And I can confirm I ran mid range turbo I should be good at Daytona though!

Didn't you read my previous comment? I didn't have them installed because of James' series test. I used the same car setup (B) and that only had turbo 2 and engine stage 1. So i left the room to get engine stages to make my car faster. I ended up switching to setup (A) which took off the turbo just to run with a new tune. That's when I went back out after we restart and changed back to setup (B) with my previous tune, just reinstalled turbo 2 and limited power to 611hp.

Thanks cnd, polar and tbw. I think last night may have put me off DP as i really hate indy. Especially the double hairpin. Plus I Didn't feel overly comfortable with the car. Maybe my opinion will change for other tracks so i'll stay put down for the ferrari for now, but if there arent that many people in DP for the proper season I'll change to make up the numbers.

Oh and something miraculous happened last night, I could see storm for the entire race!

Um, no. I have a kid to take care of that took my mind off putting the car back to these specs. And there's another series I use the car for. So forgive me if my car wasn't at the fastest it was, not like it mattered since the race didn't count for anything. The only reason I changed it was because I put engine stage 3 on it.

I remember in karting, I used to be right up there with you. But, you didn't do too bad in the DP. Hmmmm, I guess you're either a fast driver in DP, or a slow (like me) karter.
