The GTP Rolex Sports Car Series S4! Polar And Mustard Champs!

Always, but, I hear the RX-7 is a bit too fast. :sly:
I think the Toyota's were a bit quick also, didn't they have more power and less weight than the RX-7's? Or was that me pulling a Rolex S2 and downgrading my car to silence the critics? :sly:

Isn't this the Rolex thread? I'm getting confused. Toca, Rolex, and ITCC are kind of becoming one.

Floating in clouds...

Anyways, there's a reason I gave up, and became the pace car driver.

Yeah. I should've really pulled things back on the topic of Rolex, but hey... :D

Anywhooo. Rolex, I heard there was some blooper reel moments at Motegi.

I'm missing the whole preseason, so I'll catch the opener in 3 weeks.

Ok, so the season schedule is:
  1. Daytona Road Course - 65 Laps
  2. Fuji Speedway F - 36 Laps
  3. Nurburgring GP/D - 61 Laps
  4. Special Stage Route 5 - 41 Laps
  5. Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course - 55 Laps
  6. Suzuka Circuit - 40 Laps
  7. Tokyo R246 - 35 Laps
  8. Spa Francorchamps - 35 Laps
  9. Monaco - 30 Laps
  10. Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca -60 Laps

These give respective GT lap times & complete race times of approx:
  1. 1:50 - 120 mins
  2. 1:43 - 60 mins
  3. 1:31 - 95 mins
  4. 1:24 - 55 mins
  5. 1:34 - 85 mins
  6. 2:06 - 85 mins
  7. 1:45 - 60 mins
  8. 2:27 - 85 mins
  9. 1:36 - 50 mins
  10. 1:26 - 85 mins

Is this intentional? I mean Fuji, Tokyo, SSR5 & especially Monaco seem like they'll be short; though Monaco is the best chance for GT leaders to get ahead of DP tail-enders, like I tried at Laguna & Spa last season.

Also, considering the usual NAEC longer stance we had held, why are Indy & Laguna Seca shorter than most? This is especially true when considering rain may occur at Suzuka and/or Spa.

As for preseason choices Le Mans & Grand Valley for me also.

Must admit I'm a Le Mans fan, although I know some are tired of it I wish it was on regular schedule.

Unfortunately, a lot of the race would be lost if there were a caution. I believe this is the main reason for leaving the track out.

Daytona is 1.5-2 hours

NAEC is 1.5 hours

Everything else 45-60.

Changes will be made accordingly.

Ok. Using the times I mentioned previously we get [course - closest lap to upper time limit - rounded amount of laps]

  1. Daytona Road Course - 65 Laps - 65
  2. Fuji Speedway F - 35 Laps - 35
  3. Nurburgring GP/D - 40 Laps - 40
  4. Special Stage Route 5 - 43 Laps - 45
  5. Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course - 58 Laps - 60
  6. Suzuka Circuit - 29 Laps - 30
  7. Tokyo R246 - 34 Laps - 35
  8. Spa Francorchamps - 25 Laps - 25
  9. Monaco - 38 Laps - 40
  10. Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca - 63 Laps - 65

Though I wouldn't mind an extra 15 minutes on Suzuka & Spa :sly:

I must not be understanding the rules. I would do the Grand Touring but it says they're all taken. Are there any other classes that aren't grand touring or daytona proto's?

DP has a spot open :)

And I'm sure a GT spot will open up :)
