Second Dark Horse Sports entry expected to run in 1-2 undecided events in the Rolex Sports Car Series

;)

Also ran some laps at Daytona (though don't think ill be available that weekend). Running consistent 1:38s with a best of 1:38.2xx. Those were really green laps so I expect to see people run 1:37s come pole time.

Really with cnd's setting I can only do 1:41.xxx, I might Just suck :(.

Practice man. You'll learn the car. But, cnd/polar are pretty fast in DP cars. Keeping up with the front runners in DP cars is something else. It's quite difficult.

Looks like I got to do some training then, I'm already improving.

Polar wanna put the team list on the OP :).

Might do a race report for this pre-season race this weekend so I can get ready for it later.

Well, I will safely say that last night's race was amazing! R0ss gave me such a tough going for the whole race that even when he had his little incident on the straight, I had to be on point. There were moments where I thought that I was going in a little too hot in Turn 1, but it just goes to show the limits I had to push that Aston Martin to. I don't think I've been in a race that close without some stern exchange of words about respect for a little while.

Very, very happy with R0ss' tenacity, but moreover the intelligence and respect he brought with it. GOINDY warrants a mention too, as he ever so nearly pinched it at the end aswell. I could see him catching with every lap in the final stages, because nobody likes being stared down by an angry-looking German car.

I wasn't going to let you run away with it mate ;) That was the best race I've had in a very long time. Sorry for tapping you a few times on the first corner too, should have braked a bit earlier at times. I'm so glad I switched to the Ferrari too. I just could't get on with the Audi.

A couple of more laps and things would have gotten real interesting because we were all only about a second apart at the end.

A couple of laps and you would probably have won it mate, there was no way I would have kept up with you and Storm was running about the same pace as me. If it wasn't for the slow DP's you would have definitely come second.

If there were more laps I could've a higher shot at winning as I pitted for fuel when we were at pits amd you guys didn't (I think).

Haha, ;) I was hoping you wouldn't. We had our fair share of taps between us, it just happens. I wasn't comfortable making overtakes on that inside line into Turn 1, the extra weight and lack of downforce meant I had to risk a later brake point.

I had nothing more to squeeze out of the Aston V12. The front degradation meant the sweeping high-speed sections were trickier with each closing lap, but luckily the lack of rear degradation meant that my car retained a lot of acceleration late-on. I noticed the opposite for the Ferrari, retained good high-speed cornering, but didn't quite have the acceleration out of corners and on straights late on. That's more than likely why we were so close in pace.

That Audi though, the AWD certainly gives it fantastic traction and tyre wear. It had the front wear of the Ferrari, the rear wear of the Aston Martin, and as a result the Audi can run more laps with less of a laptime gap vs. fresh tyres than anything else. GOINDY proved the conclusion that the car finishes very strongly.

Yeah I noticed I could pull out a slight lead on the fast section before the hairpin, but then I just lost any lead I got pulling away from the hairpin as I just couldn't get the power down. Both cars were strong at different sections. The Audi will be in for a good chance of winning the NAEC races if the other night is anything to go by.

To avoid having to go through a ton of pages, could everyone on a team post their team name,
Who's in the team, and the logo (if needed)

Does that mean me to?
