My worry is them taking it to the supreme court and having it overturned.
Fair point. I think AZ is still being seen as a strong lock. The remaining GA votes look split, & who knows what the hell is going on in Nevada. NC has taken the week off.

My wife and I were discussing the election last night and we think it would (kind of) be good if Trump cam from behind to win Arizona if for no other reason than to shut him up that all the late votes were for Biden. He talks out of both sides of his mouth constantly but you can't have it both ways - stop counting in Pennsylvania because we're going to lose it but keep counting in Arizona because we're catching up. It doesn't work that way.

It's not not a worry for me if it comes to that, but I genuinely have faith in the Court to not buckle for him. The only one in whom I'm not super confident is ACB; she featured in a Trump campaign event for ****'s sake.

This feels like the Ohio State vs Clemson game last year, except Biden didn't run the wrong route on the last play.

Out of the 9 justices, you have 3 who definitely won't side for Trump (unless he compiles actual evidence). All you need then is two of Gorsuch, Alito, Roberts, Thomas, Kavanaugh and Barrett to dismiss the claim. Even if Trump threatens to fire any justice who rejects his claim, it would take 2/3rds of the Senate to actually follow through with that request. Even in the current climate, I doubt you will find more than a dozen or so senators (only one I can think off that may be stupid enough to do this is Graham) willing to touch that.

It's still 2020.

All it will do is force a recount, which might see some change but not enough to overturn the overall results. To those uninitiated, if Biden was attempting voter fraud, then he did an extremely bad job of it as he only won the Presidency and didn't win majority back in the Senate (also didn't get rid of McConnell or Graham). It might be more likely that Trump was attempting fraud (duh) with his various schemes (that failed).

Meanwhile, Nevada probably will release the results in 2026 and Alaska's results have been eaten by a hungry polar bear.

Honestly...it's not a small part of me that wonders if he was aware of genuine voter fraud schemes and has been trying to divert attention the other direction.

For me it's not a small part at all lol. The thing with trump is everything he rail's against, he tends to be doing himself.

TB
Personally, I'm nowhere near ready to do that yet.
Exactly. While it's looking good for Biden, he (and I assume many official outlets) will not be calling the race until all votes have been tallied. The last thing they want to do is cause the unhinged soon-to-be-former President to become even more unhinged.

Twitter have suspended bannons account.

He wanted horrible things to be done to Dr fauci and that Wray chap. I won't repeat it here.

The Supreme Court is very late in the process - it'd have to get through other courts, including at State level, much, much sooner. Which it won't.
