It's just bizarre. Of all the people to form a cult and attract this kind of blind following, it's Donald 🤬 Trump.

A right wing cult following a leader, you could've predicted that 10 years ago. Or just any strong political cult of any leaning really, history has shown it can happen and will happen every now and again.

But the person those people all follow no matter what being Donald Trump? It didn't make any sense in 2015, it still makes no sense.

He spent all day golfing; just like he has seemingly every day for the past two weeks. The hell does he actually care?
It's okay, he only missed a G20 Pandemic Planning video meeting. And he hasn't met with his own coronavirus task force since June (though Pence does, and briefs him). I guess it really did just disappear.

From his mental inbox at any rate.

Trump doesn’t have time for meetings, he’s too busy golfing (Third weekend in a row btw), which is far more important because after January he will have to actually pay for it himself.

This is how insane it's become. Tucker Carlson questioned the lack of evidence from Trump's lawyer Sidney Powell regarding "election fraud", leading to a backlash from REAL Trumpers:

Update: Tucker Carlson, Trump supporter > Never Trumper.

Doesn't he own one?

Doesn't he own one?

Yes, but currently he can bill it to the taxpayers when the resort has to shut down for him. Once he is out of office the resort will have to eat the cost unless he wants to pay out of pocket to make up for the lost revenue.

Pennsylvania judge throws out Trump lawsuit, clearing way for Biden win

Judge's remarks:

"One might expect that when seeking such a startling outcome, a plaintiff would come formidably armed with compelling legal arguments and factual proof of rampant corruption, such that this Court would have no option but to regrettably grant the proposed injunctive relief despite the impact it would have on such a large group of citizens. That has not happened," Brann added. "Instead, this Court has been presented with strained legal arguments without merit and speculative accusations, unpled in the operative complaint and unsupported by evidence."

I love how Biden is supposed to be in the wrong for forming a cabinet ahead of time like all incoming presidents do and the judges and legislature are all cowards if they decide in favour of anyone but Trump, Trump, Trump.

You know, I have a hard time believing that he's the one actually tweeting on his account. The grammar and punctuation are too good. Not saying it's perfect, but I expect worse coming from him.

That's how cults work. In the eyes of the members you are either 100% in agreement with everything the leader says and does or you're against them. The second you disagree with or question anything, you're out. Everything is totally black or white.

It's happened to Fox in general, they're determined unloyal for even questioning it, so now they've all turned to OAN who say 100% without question Trump has won. Exactly what they want to hear.

It's truly scary.

The world is watching, but for the opposite reasons. Lul.

Edit* In some weird mental gymnastics, Rudy actually sees the Pennsylvania case being thrown out as a win b/c he thinks it gets him closer to the Supreme Court where I guess they still believe will rule immediately in their favor without any evidence.

The Pennsylvania case was specifically thrown out "with prejudice", which is seemingly a rare enough appellation to show you what a pathetic, non-case it is.

This has now become a horror show, nay a snuff vid. How can one person's narssisistic ego be allowed to result in the situation the US finds itself in? Where are the checks and balances?

If POTUS visits somewhere its normal for the Secret Service to book out the entire facility, and that's what happens at Mar-a-Lago. Once he isn't President that delicious public pie just fades away.

Donald Trump has been violating the Constitution since his inauguration on January 20, 2017 as he did not divest from his businesses. He has been profiting directly and indirectly and breaking the Emoluments clause consistently, regularly, throughout his four years in office. There are literally hundreds of cases on record. Even his attorney General, William Barr, has both aided and abetted in these violations. It's an outrage. But a time of reckoning will soon be upon us.

He should have been removed from office after his impeachment trial. But a biased AG and a corrupt Republican Senate which was too cowardly and power hungry to do their jobs simply gave him a slap on the wrist. Removing a President from office is an enormous and grave responsibility that placed a burden on the entire Senate. It should not have been approached lightly or eagerly. But they didn't approach it all and they sought instead to discredit the entire investigation. Trump has now become a wild animal and his enablers in the Senate are like zoo keepers who have lost control. And the crowds (of his supporters) are now cheering for the animal. Most Republican senators are now cowering, stuck between their constituents who are calling for their heads for not putting their full weight and power to call the elections a fraud, and the pretty much EVERYBODY else who isn't a deranged cult member, to tell Trump, he lost, and urge him to move along. They're stuck in their corners like cornered rats and just hoping they maintain their lead after the Georgia run-offs. The entire situation is a disgrace.

The only thing I can hope that the SCOTUS isn't completely delusional and they will rule against Trump and his circus. I would expect a civil war if they would side with them - although one wonders whether that's the ultimate spiel of GOP. I already mentioned once here that I'm very concerned that his cult followers are fully armed and very trigger-happy, just waiting for the spark to start it all...

If a judge dismisses a case with prejudice such as the Pennsylvania legal challenge, I don't think Sid and Rudy are allowed to present it to the Supreme Court without compelling new evidence supporting their claims.

I'm not sure that the military would support Trump's autogolpe (new word I learned today) either.

Remember the moment in 2016 when Trump was elected & many people were horrified but thought "well, this is bad, but perhaps he will "pivot" and act more "Presidential"? The reality has become far worse than the worst imaginings from that moment.

..and the ironic thing is that if he had even acted a little more presidential, he would've easily won re-election going by how close it was without it. Even after 3 and a half years of nonsense COVID turned up and would've handed it to him on a plate if he'd done the bare minimum but no, he couldn't help himself, he had to go down the usual Trump route of grifting, pointing blame and trying to harm his opponents.

Nov. 14th, Sidney Powell is mentioned as part of Trump's legal team & announced she would "release the kraken".
Donald Trump Twitter
I look forward to Mayor Giuliani spearheading the legal effort to defend OUR RIGHT to FREE and FAIR ELECTIONS! Rudy Giuliani, Joseph diGenova, Victoria Toensing, Sidney Powell, and Jenna Ellis, a truly great team, added to our other wonderful lawyers and representatives!

1 week later, Trump's legal team threw the kraken back in the water.
The Trump campaign is disavowing their association with attorney Sidney Powell after the far-fetched Trump campaign Thursday press conference when she claimed without evidence that the deceased Hugo Chavez, among others, was responsible for rigging the election. The campaign claimed that she "is not a member of the Trump legal team," even though the president and Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani had previously identified her as being on the team.
