Whaa? Lotus currently has products that are better than the 340R in every possible comparable category. The 340R was a nifty car, and capable too, but it was less than remotely practical. You had to take the entire body of the car off to get to the battery.

Well of course, its just that it was so unique and rare that it "has to be good!!!" kind of way. Its not practical, but would you blame the owners of a Ferrrari FXX or a Aston Martin N24 would you? No!

Oh, come on. I think It's the only Hatchback to EVER come with Rear wheel drive and a V8. The Gremlin is cool. You should have put its bastard relative Pacer in. Yeah.. let's ditch a rotary for a heavy,smog choked 258 c.i. straight six. Stupid American Motors management.. The Pacer could have been so cool!

Je suis d'accord avec Serge et V1P3R. L'Alpine A310 est une des plus belles voitures de France. Il est évident que la personne qui a fait des mauvaises remarques sur cela voiture est fou. (I just typed an Essay for my 300 level french class..I don't know if I'm making any sense anymore)

Agreed. But that aftermarket conversion doe not agree with me. In that case, I can see why A Fatal Goodbye put that car there, but the original is gorgeous.

Hah, this thread is for "ugly" not "crappy".

There are many cars that are ugly but are great cars for other reasons.

Definitely won't be a popular choice in here. But the only part of the body that is remotely attractive is the front end, and that's only 'cause it's shared with the 159. The side profile makes it looks exceedingly chunky (which it is...) and the rear is just hideous. I don't think I've ever seen such an ugly pair of rear lights.

EDIT = I just went back to the first page or so. The Caparo definitely deserves to be in here, it's a monster of design, hideous. Despite it all being functional/F1 like/whatever.

I saw it. It's... eccentric, not often seen as ugly, but I have to agree with you on some points, matherto.

The Caparo, engine fires aside, is actually cool... however, that minimalist appearance is definitely not for everyone.
