Why I find it ugly? Well; pointy grill, ugly front bumper, and it has those pointy stye turning lights I don't like. I never understood the appeal to that at all. Blehh.

I just think it tends to be a bit too much for a car. Maybe it's just me but it almost always looks better in my eyes.

Ah, I understand that.
I don't agree with it, but I understand it. I personally like 4 doors on some cars just for practical reasons. It makes getting to the back seat of a car no longer an annoyance.

Don't get me wrong, the practicality is great! It's just wether or not it looks good. Some do, some don't. In the case of the Granada, it doesn't.

All depends on what you consider ugly. I rather like that styling.

I'll admit though, it took a long time getting used to seeing those boats but I can finally appreciate them. I was like you for a long time.

Honestly, I don't quite like the design of this Corolla much. The headlights, bumpers. Oh, and the grill on the XRS is quite horrendous. It just all looks off to me, like Toyota just took the Camry design and tried compacting it in a smaller package.
