Those headlight kinda ruined the car somehow...
I think the opposite, they fit the car unlike with the 650S. Which is why I find the Super series cars to be the worst of the McLaren lineup. Now if they kept the 12c's front for them, I'd think differently.

The headlights are a big reason why I don't like the look of it. It's mainly the head/taillights and that carbon stripe thing down the side of it. I prefer how the 650S looks.

See, I would agree if it wasn't literally a P1's face on a 12C. Speaking of the P1, I'd love to know your opinion on that as that lends many of it's cues to the Sports Series cars. Specifically the headlights and carbon insets on the side.

As much as I love old Tatras (above included), the T87 is certainly no looker. They got a little better as the model aged--headlights blended into the bodywork--but their "unique" suspension* was said to be a cause of its accident-prone reputation. Still, its aircooled 3-liter V8 was rated at 74hp in 1938. Those big scoops aft of the quarter windows help to get air to the rear-mounted engine.

*Transverse leaf spring front (not so unusual), quarter elliptical leaf spring rear in a V on either side of the transaxle.

Frankly I'm just dying to know what those end plates look like, but that danged camouflage is there...

I mean...if it weren't for that awkward mutant headlight slit above each of the normal headlights I'd probably like that.
That's part of why I like it. Suuuuuuuure they could make it look the same as anything else on the road but it's a Citroen, it should stand out a bit even if that does mean some awkwardness.

I actually love the 540C now that I see it, never liked the 650C to begin with, or the P1.

I also finally found something nobody posted, yet. I think. The Lincoln MKT.

Is it bad that I like it?

Isn't that a Pivco?

See any difference between the Chevrolet Venture and Oldsmobile Silhouette?

Nope. Not putting any effort into design is ugly.

Except that the front ends on both are obviously different. Even if it's simply down to grille designs which, in the case of the late '90s Venture, looks naff. As does the Pontiac Montana in general for that matter. And the less said about the later SV6, the better.

I honestly think that out of all the places GM marketed the U-Van, it was the UK got the better end of this 'badge 'n' grille job' deal.
