The guy was me and I said I like it. Why would I say I like crap?

KremithefrogWell I just have the DF not the DFP, so I can't say it's just as good as the DFP for lap times, but it's good. I'm sure 900 degree mode could be useful, but I think if you practice you can get about the same lap times out of a DS2, DF, or DFP. If you already have the DF, you should know it's not bad.
KremithefrogI think you'll like it. Better than using a ds2.
satrialesI've just ordered the USB pen drive from aria.co.uk for £7.50 + VAT (and £2.99 delivery). Also you can add a pack of 4 AAA batteries for 1p. The batteries aren't worth getting on their own though because of the postage, but if you are buying something anyway it shouldn't add any extra postage costs:
USB 128 MB Pen Drive = £12.33 including VAT and delivery
If I add the 4 batteries it comes to £12.34 including VAT and delivery
Bargain!!
I don't know about blotchy but definitely dark. Use the settings in photo mode to get the picture brighter. Usually then it's still too dark, so use something like photoshop to add more light.d12dotcomBut with my pictures, when I put them on my PC they seem....blotchy. Take a look: Piccy
How are your pedals setup? I didn't think it was taxing for anyone to push a pedal down. Maybe think about setting your pedals up different or seeing a doctor about your leg.TigJacksonI really like the DFP, and the fact that you can 'map' various buttons to various functions comes in quite handy. I assigned gas to the -Shift (the knob) specifically while going for Gold on License Test IA-16. As a middle aged man, my leg got tired keeping it floored for that long straightaway and it was much easier to keep max speed while pushing forward on the shifter. I kept losing time on the distant left hand turn, and assigning gas to the shift knob made that long straight somewhat less taxing.

KremithefrogMake sure your options are set to super fine for pictures. The rest is how you compose the shot. You pen drive could be doing something to the pics, but not likely.
I have poor circulation in both legs and I am taking medication for it....contemplating the next step....surgery.SwiftThat sounds like a medical situation to me....I'd get that checked out bud. I wouldn't put the gas on the stick. Because that means you can only have one hand one the wheel and you simply cannot be as precise with one hand as you can with two. That's probably why you're loosing speed on that left hander.

As far as the gas on the stick goes, the beauty of the DFP is that near the end of the straight I just use the pedals....just let go of the stick and drive normally. It still took me a long time to find the proper braking point and throttle control for that left hander....with both hands on the wheel.
SwiftAre you driving automatic then?
ceanthHi all, i did try to read most of this thread but i didnt find what i was looking for so here goes: i recently bought GT4 and have the driving force pro wheel, everything works great but when i go into 200 degree mode the steering becomes super sensitive and pretty much unplayable
Does anyone know how to make the sensitivity go down in 200 degree mode? I looked on the options but found nothing.
red_infinityNo, as far as I know. Just play it in 900 degrees as it's meant to be.
ceanthyea i dont mind 900 degree mode, guess it will take getting use to + a strong sturdy table
I think so. I use simulation and have found myself with the wheel turned all the way but the game not interpreting it as full lock.letdown427Driving assist, is there much of a difference between simulation and professional? Because on gt3, professional just effectively meant that you could actually get full lock(and thus countersteer) when the tail stepped out.
Is this the case in GT4?I havnt really had long enough to know whether the hard countersteering is part of the physics, or just hindered by simulation mode for steering assist?
Any help much appreciated
